I had reported a few before I became an Admin here. Since then not so many. For some reason when I PM them about breaking a rule now they pay more attention. Go figure.

I talk first then if it is really bad, I report. I just don't have the HD space for that many screens.

I rarely do,for the simple fact that I would spend an hour for every thirty minutes playtime writing reports.......just not worth it in my opinion.I want to play...not be the server cop.Might be why I dont get on that much anymore.:(

There have been a few situations where it has been made clear to me that someone doesn't understand the rules. In some of those cases trying to explain the rule violation would only get me in trouble. Especially when the response is "lol" Then just report it or let the violation continue.
I did get burned last week though. After witnessing one person violate the same rule twice in about 5 minutes I chose not to report it. Didn't even screen it all. The next day the same person reported a member of my faction for doing what I witnessed him doing the night before.

I don't report anything. Even with the two times random indy cruisers parked outside Crete killed my Cretan (-_-) merc, once without a word, and the other with a "u leve now" "5 4 3 2 1 pew pew", all I did was have a nice long educating chat with them. And yeah, they apologized and understood what they did wrong. I don't get any thrils out of taking fun away from anyone, even if they violated rules. I figure, if they keep doing it, they'll get sanctioned anyways, and if they take my words to heart, awesome.
I do, however, report swearing.

:PI only report if it's really bad and the noob presists at breaking the rule to a point it hurts my gameplay... (such as switching from train to cap to revange my pirating success)
Judging by the poll so far, most of you do the same... personaly really i couldn't be bothered with filing a report, if it were a lot simpler, i would do it more often, but i don't see a way for it to be more simple...
