I just tried to buy experimental Fertilizers on Kyushu. I got a message "I'm sorry Dave, I can't do that."
And it ate about 11 million credits. While the message is funny, it's not terribly helpful in explaining what the problem was.
I'm guessing the event is on hold until it's updated?

The fix for the rather derpy choice of sellpoints, given the factions involved, that was pointed out by @"John Wildkins" will be implemented during the next restart. This will also zero the current score, of course.

Uh, that is not supposed to happen. Can you explain exactly how much and in what were you trying to buy it on? PM me the character's name if needed.

I tried to buy 2917 units on a Synth Foods IDed Heron.
I'm not worried about the credits, I just was wondering if the event had changed and I was doing it wrong.

Interesting. I am not really sure why would it do that. Though judging from what was mentioned earlier, Synth Foods and Samura are not really friends, so that could be the case. In truth, I have no clue what that particular error means. Thanks for telling me though, I will look into it.
Still, PM me the name of your character and I will refund the 11mil you lost.

Alright, I made the adjustments to the cargo so that it makes more sense. I also decided to make the Kus-Rh trip involve human cargo so that the RFP can have their fun regarding human cargo transporting rights.

And with that you technically force people to choose between breaking laws and basically becoming unlawfuls/smugglers, or giving up the profit they used to have with the non-human cargo. Wouldn't an additional commodity with higher profits suffice instead of a substitution?

It was a conscious choice due to a matter of balance.
That and the previous event that had human cargo (Between Liberty and Rheinland) ended up spawning huge amounts of Liners. This would be a good chance for those people to not feel like the investment was one-time only.
