RE: 4.88.6 (4.88 Final) - Fall Update: Bretonia and Liberty Cleanup - Shaggy - 10-10-2016 I would like to now just make my post about the Update and so on. Without having been ingame yet myself, but just hearing from my members and so on. - Pytho balance fix Can I get the Patch Notes on this please and stats thanks you. - Planet Yuma has Docking Rings. This I have been sent describes how we had the help from Cryer and Synth Foods. But we did not get any help from Cryer we had help from a group known as GalSpan which helped finished the construction of the base. Equipment Changes - Crayter Republic engines added - Crayter Republic SNAC added We also requested for Crayter Republic TEW guns to have a NEW Effect and to also have new stats which were close to the Purple Goddess Chain guns which we were promised by Haste. It appears we did not receive that either. Also we where told we would be getting out new ship this update which is the "Deimos" Dreadnought. It seems that is not also implemented yet can I have an answer to these few questions as to why some of the CR stuff was not implemented or done yet? There was another side request I spoke to Teerin about. That was the NPC's they actually have Civilian Pilots onboard I asked for them to be Crayter Republic for more sense and also they say they are IMG pilots but clearly they are not. Can that get a fix too. Thank you RE: 4.88.6 (4.88 Final) - Fall Update: Bretonia and Liberty Cleanup - Shiki - 10-10-2016 (10-10-2016, 05:14 PM)Shaggy Wrote:(10-10-2016, 03:20 PM)Sanja Wrote:(10-10-2016, 02:47 PM)Teerin Wrote: I forgot to write about this in the original post, my apologies. And? Your words only prove my words. Of course there were, because the event commodity was almost x2 times more profitable than regular smuggling (and were close to the ore profits, but you did not have to mine and was not depend on PoBs). People came to trade this event and will be gone after it. You know well, that most of those ships were FL Serenities, who normally doing something else (trading ore) and smuggling. Many people got Serenity just for this event, because you was able to buy off full ship price in one run. RE: 4.88.6 (4.88 Final) - Fall Update: Bretonia and Liberty Cleanup - TheSauron - 10-10-2016 So much of Gaians combating Crayterian attempts to settle the planet, eh? RE: 4.88.6 (4.88 Final) - Fall Update: Bretonia and Liberty Cleanup - WildBill - 10-10-2016 From the Junker's in Puerto Rico - Of course we have a few issues with the update. The system change itself is wonderful. The location is nearly perfect for a "den of thieves" and what is generally considered a mass group of degenerates. Overall this update has introduced many much needed changes. I would like to thank the dev team for giving us the opportunity to RP the Rogue presence in Puerto Rico. Even though {SR} is not an official faction we had a blast on both sides with the RP. Thank you for giving it validation. However, we feel there are some things that are missing. 1. The JH's have been positioned so far away from the Premium Scrap field. It is an extremely long flight now to the Pscrap field from Puerto Rico. The bulk of our activity and RP is based around our mining operations to/from our station in Puerto Rico. I don't believe any other factions have been affected this badly by a system move. This is our bread and butter, our jobs as Junkers. Would it be possible for the Hudson JH in Texas to be moved to the old PR JH location and the Southern field activated again? Or possibly a location in Hudson or Bering with a lower drop rate (not extremely low though)?
2. Base supplies. A while back our former leader Widow discussed the issue of base supplies with someone on the dev team. The resolution to the issue was that Reinforced Alloy would be made available closer to Puerto Rico. Instead we have been moved further away from these supplies. When we originally built the stations RA's were available in Puerto Rico. They were removed without warning and we were told privately it was because "Jump Hole blocking POB's". While other factions have retained the right to less than a 5min flight to restock their POB's (OSI, IMG, JM) we continue have them moved further and further away.
3. Attached Systems. The point of moving Puerto Rico was to detach it from Liberty. But it is now connected to New Hampshire. Is New Hampshire no longer considered a Liberty system? We were originally shown a map depicting Puerto Rico being in the middle of Hudson and Omega 7. Turning the system into a true smuggling route between Omega Unlawfuls and Liberty/Rheinland. Rogues and Junker pirates would be able to hit said smugglers moving through the system. Ore haulers attempting to take a risky shortcut into Liberty would be highly vulnerable to piracy. I understand this would give Junkers far too much of an advantage in smuggling. Perhaps placing the system between Bering and Hudson would be the better fix? Instead of Bering having a direct attachment to Hudson, Puerto Rico could be in the middle?
Overall the system has been further removed from any of the much needed commodities and the issues the move was originally intended to fix were not addressed or fixed at all. RE: 4.88.6 (4.88 Final) - Fall Update: Bretonia and Liberty Cleanup - Jack_Henderson - 10-10-2016 I like the heavy transport turrets a lot. Btrans were very weak in their combat role before, but now they can - when someone lets them get close - really pack a punch. It also proved not to be op in conn tests, as more agile cerb transports easily kill it by staying at range. It is a nice nieche that this gun fills and finally Btrans can use their huge power core. I am not sure whether 50 cargospace / gun is justified, as it makes a CAU8 Btrans with 10 heavy guns end up with less cargo space than a Serenity (which wins a 1on1 against a Btrans every time). Perhaps 25? 30? 50 feels a little excessive. Anyway, really nice addition. Also thank you for handing back some survivability to Btrans. Feels a lot better now. Just noticed the same. 50 seems bit too much. 25 sounds alright if you ask me. Would still reduce the cargo space enough, especially regarding how much energy they consume. You might be right here but that does not change the fact Coronado was updated for a better coronado giving it the Manchester route also and not only that placing the Coronado jh in the "inactive" JH in the further distance. Not only this but the smuggle problem could be fixed with buffs to the commodity and not just ONE system RE: 4.88.6 (4.88 Final) - Fall Update: Bretonia and Liberty Cleanup - Venkman - 10-10-2016 Can you guys please add the image for the official Interspace Commerce ID? There is no proper smuggling routes going to Bretonia from Taus this way (Manchster JH). I'd expect development team to make smuggling more attractive, because currently it's all about the lwaful ore trading. Ore profits and smuggling not being good is the exact problems of less work for lawfuls in Kusari/Bretonia, not the Baffin "highway". Weird, but okay /shrug. That was what was intended, so the smugglers have to go through Bretonian space to reach Liberty. There Manchester JH to Cortez instead of straight to Cortez. It is to make the route a little longer and to get more interactions without. Smugglers docking on Barrier Gate Station. Barrier Gate Station had Baffin JH 15k and Cortez JH 13k from it or something really close to, so it was near impossible for 2 expierenced bombers to take down a well armored transporter. That includes trying to RP from the JH and it continueing to move and silent traders which is what we got alot of and there is even video footage of NC doing this. |
