Do you have an Outcast ID?
Also, did you actually buy the cargo on the start base and sell it on the freeport?
Or did you pick up the cargo from a killed player? If the later - no bonus for you.

EDIT: Only the cargo event counts towards the rewards. The kill bonus is just a bonus.
