Unfortunately as the Guild is a Vanilla faction - we cannot prevent anyone from using the GMG tag in their name.
Correct, the Ronin are indie.
As a matter of fact I am asking them to use Ronin only in their names instead of GMG-Ronin, so that any misunderstandings might cease.
Therefore we will still be a GMG squadron, with GMG IFF and ID but identified only by Ronin|Name instead of GMG-Ronin|Name.

I think it's a neat step (me the person) and have thus already taken the first steps towards being completely hostile to the new dealings (at least, with a particular character). Because change can't just happen peacefully, can it? That's much less fun.
I do think it's a great step forward for Disco though. :)

To be sure - part of the fun will be seeing how the various factions react to this.
There will probably be a few small trips into Rheinland first, 'fact-finding' missions to establish IFF and commodity prices.
They arent so important, what will be big is the formal event to inaugurate this Treaty. Will there be protests? Who knows...
