In the future we might have special ''jump'' transports that CAN be jumped, who knows.

Perhaps as a faction perk *cough*osi*cough*?

I gotta say, given the behavior I have seen from a lot of the military factions recently, that this is a mistake. They are being rewarded for melancing with tech perks that will only encourage more melancing.

This change is dangerous.

I found very old coords and it's way too much fun already to have absolutely no limitations in trying them all out again. Good to know Maine was turned into Unchartered Gallia.

Just what did you do to me..

Well, coordinates expire after a while, right? Having old coordinates doesn't really help you after a month.

I vaguely remember it never working as intended. Are you sure they stop working?

They do not expire, they are just inaccurate. I land between 40 - 220k away from my planned destination...

Edit: Most of those coords are from 2014 or 2015

Edit 2: Just used ancient coords for Ainu, result: 80k above it. Acceptable for me (sun)

We know.
After the next restart, you will not be able to jump into a system that is not connected to the main network with a two-sided JH.

So you basically just remove the ability to visit very old systems or event ones with this.. That's nice.

(Can you give me Tau-65 coords pls, I want to visit it one last time then :|)

RE: Notice: Experimental changes to Jump Drives - rev 1 - Sombs - 10-13-2017

Most old systems have become one of the 27 ??? systems or one of the Uncharted systems. T-65 isn't in the game anymore.

Heresy. It will forever be.
