There is FAQ in the first post RE: [FLHook] Drone Bays - Enkidu - 04-04-2018 Will we require drone parts to deploy drones? I'd be a bit peeved if people are gated into showing up to PVE events in order to gain better fight odds. RE: [FLHook] Drone Bays - sasapinjic - 04-04-2018 Guys , one drone per ship will be enough for now , for testing purposes , dont ask for any more of them until we see how they will behave on real server with lots of carriers . Number of drones for one carrier can be modified later , if needed . As , for fear that to many drones may become NPC ganking problem , we could have some safety measure , for example , program that prevents more that , lets say , 5 drones active in same system . But my question remains: will more than 1 drone per carrier be possible, how big will the hangers be? Thanks, I have read that. I probably did not express myself right: I know you currently want just 1 ACTIVE drone per carrier. Im talking about how many drones you can have on board the carrier, ready to be launched, something like ammo for missiles. What if my ACTIVE drone is destroyed, can I launch another one? Or does it use cooldown? RE: [FLHook] Drone Bays - Remnant - 04-04-2018 (04-04-2018, 02:12 PM)ronillon Wrote: Thanks, I have read that. I probably did not express myself right: I was told that ammo shouldn't matter. That once a drone is destroyed, it should simply be queued up to be launched again. So theoretically, a carrier can launch unlimited drones. Just one can be out at a time. It was mentioned that perhaps every launch should consume ammo, or withdraw some credits, although ultimately those ideas were scrapped. This being something I could add in later if people deem it necissary. But right now, they're free. Yes, there are different types of drones that a single carrier can launch. RE: [FLHook] Drone Bays - Remnant - 04-10-2018 Sadly, I have not been having much luck dealing with the drones not appearing on the scanners. FLHook really doesn't like fake reputations. If worst comes to worse, I've created a small workaround which should be at least slightly informative, which tells the user who owns the drone you've just selected. It's easy to tell if you're being targeted by a drone, since it turns red to you (and an alert will be given to you) ![]() (The text may be hard to read, but it says "Target is a drone owned by User" - User is the shipname for the one who deployed the drone) I'm not giving up on a proper fix. I'm simply making sure that options exist for if worst comes to worst. |
