I still like the general style of this "claw" shaped model compared to the other prototypes, however the air intake on the top feels out of place

I much preferred the prospective old models that were slightly altered versions of the CTE line with spikes and cool bits.

They were fairly low quality and too identical. It's likely something inspired by that original pitch could be remastered and serve as the ship line, but they would need to stand out a little more than they did initially. Otherwise they would not meet quality standards.
