And Rheinland will start grow like Soviet Union. And will try to help other worker movement(Mollys) in Bretonia for example. And Rheinland will have war with Bretonia\Liberty again. And Rheinland will be like a Soviet Union in game, only deutch (DDR). (i think this is much interesting) But i think many players have no clue about socialistic movement and worker rights. I like this idea. Story dev, by the way, me, as you might see by the name colour. It is exciting and dramatic. However, it obsoletes the Hessians. Why would the Hessians continue existing if Rheinland is now socialist? Our policy is not to delete factions, unless there are no players playing for them and haven't been for years. I can actually confirm this, and the person you are talking about is Steiner. His plan is to infiltrate Bretonia, depose the queen after the Gauls have won, marry the daughter and heiress of King Charles, and then also become the Rheinland kaiser, after the imperial revolution. Kusari and Liberty will find themselves in a sandwich. RE: Poll: Imperial Rheinland - Couden - 07-13-2019 (07-13-2019, 10:37 PM)Thunderer Wrote: I like this idea. Well yes, but make Rheinland systems contested. RE: Poll: Imperial Rheinland - mayu20 - 07-13-2019 Its funny how 95 people voted on this, but the game can't reach 80 online players for more than a hour on a weekend. Freelancer community way bigger than ingame online. Nothing odd RE: Poll: Imperial Rheinland - Emperor Tekagi - 07-13-2019 I so went to vote for no. I don't know but the Soviet Union idea is funnier, it's far too unrealistic, I know, but oh well... COMMUNISM INTENSIFIES - BE PREPARED LIBERTY, WE ARE COMING FOR YOU! Generally spoken, best of luck at turning Rheinland into an Empire again. This can become either truly interesting or end up in a disaster.. not sure yet. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ RE: Poll: Imperial Rheinland - Omicron - 07-13-2019 Faction that insists on restoring monarchy? Yes, it gives new dynamic Changing a government on a whim just to change the figurehead? No. I would only approve of such a change in situation where entire landscape of Rheinland is altered to reflect the change. Nationalize foreign corporations, additional embargoes to strengthen local corps etc. etc. RE: Poll: Imperial Rheinland - Vrabcek - 07-14-2019 I would say that would be an another unnecessary change to Rheinland that will not help it in any way... RE: Poll: Imperial Rheinland - Yber - 07-14-2019 hi RE: Poll: Imperial Rheinland - Mr.Cardaminum - 07-14-2019 Say, Hessians managed to propagate their ideas quite widely (which is very plausible, given how messy Rheinland is, and having lost the war to Lolberty) and support a few popular insurrections in Cologne/Stuttgard, whatever. Hessians are small, but together with the Coalition they have a very strong ideology that people like turning to when in despair or when leadership is doing questionable things, like fighting Kusari or siding with Gallic monarchists. But not everyone is happy about lefties taking over and nationalising businesses. The middle-class and upper classes turn to government for a response and the federal government is too weak to react accordingly. The dissatisfaction is growing, allowing the rightists pro-imperial political parties to get the upperhand and use the public outcry for bringing rebellion in check to issue a Vote of Distrust (either a referendum, whether fabricated or not) and force the federal government to step down in favour of imperialists who, in their turn, can either proclaim someone Kaiser as a symbol of new national unification and bolster the national pride as opposed to internationalism praised by the lefties or to create a provisional military government pending the reclamation of the rebellious systems, only then to appoint the Kaiser. As the result, Rheinland is torn apart by a civil war alike Russian October Revolution of 1917. All parties will try to avail the opportunities to get something out of it. Pro-Empire will try to militarise stuff, lefties - get full control over Rheinland, centrists - survive by balancing, different unlawful factions - seize a piece of the pie by playing the double agents or openly siding with either of the sides, Coalition - the chance to start a big Revolution at last, Gauls - an opportunity to establish a foothold in Rheinland by siding with the imperialists and getting there via Zurich, as well as destabilising Sirius further to ease up possible expansion and weakening negotiation positions of Bretonia and Liberty (or, absolutely conversely, siding with the Hessians and supporting the Revolution which will spin by itself, threatening to spread in Lolberty and making the latter get out of war, like it really happened with Tsarist Russia in 1917 after Lenin was sent to Russia from Germany by the monarchist forces). There are tons of story development opportunities, and, given the chaos, player factions in Rheinland that will be fighting for the piece of the pie or siding with the major combatants, can actually influence the story development, as smaller pieces of the pie are less impactful and will reflect the whole chaos of the calamity. In this conditions, the question is what will happen to the Hessians. IMHO, they can become the spearhead of the Revolution, just like the Bolsheviks, as well as taking control over the part of Rheinwehr of Rheinland Demokratische Republik. At the same time, the plit within the lefties themselves (Bundschuh, Hessians, what is left of LWB, pro-lefties Unioners) can rival each other as it was in October Revolution (Bolsheviks, Mensheviks, anarchists of Makchno, etc) and start fighting each other. At any rate, given current developments in Rheinland, this in my opinion would make much more sense than Rheinland suddenly turning back into Empire without, as it was pointed out by other lads, seizing property, doing some evident rightists movement and without a strong faction that would represent the call for Imperial Rheinland, while the factions calling for the Revolution have existed for quite a while and have achieved limited success (like Dresden). |
