Loken is not in the squad because he's bad or GM.
Anyway I'd identify squad as collection of random people who are making winning chanses of the side that is opposing to event organiser liking high.
Maybe there's an alternative definition and more full list of squad members.

So on and so forth. There's always going to be a gang that can skull-fuck the entire server and that's fine, nature of the beast and all. Just wish they'd shoot each other and give other people a chance to play the game too. I don't dislike anyone involved, just calling a spade a spade.
Besides, like I said, the new Gaian faction has a lot of lower key players. Would probably be good for them to get obliterated to see what a good team can do.
So yeah I'm in favor of letting everyone play, although at the end of the day it's Tanith's event and Tanith's decision, and I can 100% see the angle they're approaching it from.
Edit: Tanith has asked me to stop replying so I'm abiding that and editing this post instead.
It'd be easy to mistake my words for passive aggression here and I get it, but they really aren't. I'm not attacking anyone, or saying that anyone's way of playing the game, or anyone's choice of friends, is invalid or wrong. I don't want to derail this thread, I'm just trying to cast some light on why (I think) Tanith did things the way that they did.

I'm trying to encourage newer Liberty players as I know there are a whole bunch, not just the people who turn up to every event. The idea is to encourage people to be more gameplay adventurous. Next event will be an event more aimed at the cream of the PVP crowd. I've already slotted in good PVPers where available to cover when good PVPers ended up on the unlawful team; I'm just trying to leave slots for newer people on both sides.
If no newer or less-PVP experienced Liberty players turn up in several hours they will be slotted in anyway.
Y'all will post in discussion threads about being more nice to each other but you won't actually do it, my god.

Event slots updated. Apologies to the lawful side on being slow on updating your slots, the organiser didn't have a lot of time to check the event page today or yesterday. Whilst we are slightly balancing skill, it's only a secondary adjustment and hasn't impacted you being added in any fundamental way - highly skilled players have just been added as reserves first if we suspect the playerbase is smaller. This has only happened on the lawful team as there's more possible IDs on the lawful team. By contrast, every N| and UN| who can come, is coming. @"Riehl" is a bit busy and is the only one checking slot updates.
@Sicicega do you have a bomber we can register you with, or do you want to keep your original ship class?
Slots left to fill:
Lawful:
2x Fighter/bombers.
2x Transports (we recommend flack battle-transports, aggressive armoured light transports, armoured transports, or liners).
1x Cruiser.
Unlawful:
1x cruiser
2x gunboats
If we have slot disparity we will do inclusive balancing at our respective spawns prefight.
