All combat vessels report to Cambridge or New London asap and monitor routes to and from O49 and O5. Do not pursue into Omega 49 or 05. Galactica will postpone its refit mission and be in New London shortly. Croatica is assigned to Cambridge.
Diplomatic statuses updated with SCRA and London Drug Inc. to Hostile. Civilian vessels are cautioned to choose their routes carefully and get fighter escort when possible.

As for the encounter in Dublin, I got to the site just as the Orion had been shot down. After finding that I could not scratch the Telarca, I tried my best to take out the two London Drug vessels. I managed to knock out the Kingpin's shields and do a fair amount of damage, there was just too much fire coming down upon me, and my ship was destroyed.
I agree with the Orion that for future encounters involving Protreptic, we will need much heavier firepower than anti-fighter guns.

Cylon attack at Harris
A single Cylon wing attacked me and Artemis in Harris orbit. A short fight ensued where one Cylon jumped away unexpectedly. The remaining Cylon defeated both of us. The raider designs seem to have been improved since our last encounter and they sport new equipment. Some sort of high yield mine was used with great effectiveness and our ability to fight a maneuvering battle has been greatly diminished. Recommend tactical analysis and possible new training regimen.
Artemis fought valiantly to keep the toasters off my back and succeeded in stripping their sheilds multiple times. My recommendation for his promotion is enclosed for the CAGG and Admiral's approval.

I am worried about this new cylon problem Admiral. They have aquired new tech and tactics that work very well against our vipers. I have asigned the task of inventing a better tactic to a teem of tactical officers.
It seems that they have come up with nothing! They suggest that a buddy system be used.

I do agree that the buddy system is a good way to increase the chances of success but, as far as a new tactic to engage cylons, I believe that my tactical teem has failed in that regard!

For some time now i am working on new tactic and equipment for our vipers.
I will make report soon. At this moment my viper can preform very well and it is semi equiped.
For the moment cylons seem to out maneuver viper so it is advised to use missiles. Trick is to hit them at least once to knock out their weapon systems.
Also we will practice some new tricks in fight one vs one, one vs two, two vs one and two vs two. Untill now we didnt encounter any of cylon capital ships so all vipers are advised to be equipped only for fighter vs fighter fight.

Madam President. The tactic you describe was presicely what Artemis and I were doing at Harris and we still lost. At one point we had engaged the two ships one on one, then both the Cylons turned on me for a bit, then Artemis, each time forcing us to use bats and bots. At no point could we maneuver well enough for both of us to hit the same target at the same time.
Adm Adama:
Cpt. Adalante, in addition to researching optimum equipment for our fighters I am tasking you and Lt. Helion with taking every possible opportunity to conduct training ops with our pilots. I want to focus on accuracy and maneuvering, or any other means of reducing our apparent disadvantage. Colonial Intelligence is working on getting you more accurate information regarding the new Cylon Raider design but for the mean time hunt pirates or fight each other if you have to.
To the rest of our pilots: take every opportunity to learn from the CAGG, dogfight with him and hone your skills.
Promotion for Lt. Samarez to full LT. is approved due to bravery in combat, congradulations!
Lt. Nathaniel-your recent engagement with the Cylons in Theta has not gone unnoticed however I don't believe it was a true test of your skills as the battle was heavily in our favor due to the SSO assistance. As Cpt. Adalante has had most opportunity to watch you in battle I will grant him discretionary authority to promote you to full LT. when he sees fit.
I have placed Achilles on our inactive reserve list, he has requested a leave of absence to hunt chickenhawks on Denver. Our pilot roster stands currently at 5 active. Officers and executives are working hard to refil our ranks.
