It was nice to be involved in big battle again. At some point the fight turned into a mess, but it was funny. The attackers did a great job of pinning down the defenders at different stages of the battle. Thanks a lot for everyone!

Sorry for the repair ship everyone, we beamed it out when we saw the damage it has done. Still, all three liners died and the Emperor's ship lost 20% hull.

Kudos to all who showed up and thank you!

Great event, lovely attendence and great fights...

Sadly I didn't like the ending. This Kaiser is nothing more than a caricature of Wilhelm the 2nd, if I ever seen one. I was hoping for something fresh and new, but it's Freelancer so I guess stereotypes work.

Still, I feel like my will to play Rheinland (most of my playtime) has been drastically nerfed.

It was funny and unexpected, I take that.

Overall good event, had some downsides to it as well though, and pillow was looking for feedback.

Positives:
- Generally just a lot of fun, nice to see large groups of people play for factions that normally don't get any attention, Luna is a happy man.
- The free restarts were nice.
- Good to see a combat event that spans over several systems.

Negatives:
- Initial limit for the attackers to respawn should've been fairly obviously imbalanced.
- The repair ship being present was pretty dumb, and it took a while for that to be dealt with by staff.
- The liners flying around in circles when they were initially engaged in New Berlin was pretty scuffed because of the initial no respawns for attackers.
- The one liner doubling back to get repaired was extremely unfair.
- The Maquis being neutral to all of the Rheinland forces made fighting as them a lot more difficult.
- The Maquis restart being located on Brunoy certainly made sense, but it made it more difficult to actually get into the fight than it needed to be, it being on Beaumont would've been much better.

For future events:
- Similar events in the future should probably be restricted to snubs when most of the factions involved on one side can't fly cruisers.
- Same goes for the battleships, limiting them to one per official faction was a good idea, but perhaps if it's going to be a snub focus event, the battleship shouldn't get unlimited respawns.
- Having more coverage for restart locations would've been nice. I understand there are time constraints in regards to this, but a LWB restart on Darmstadt and a Brigands restart on Beaumont would've been nice.
- The Gallic Wild restart being on the Valmy would've given an option to actually attack in Champagne, or a Brigand/Maquis restart located on Epernay could've covered this.

Additional:
-Doing it as one escort faction per system could've worked well here. KPR in New Berlin, RM in Stuttgart for example. This would allow for limited respawns by allowing people to respawn in as the next escorting group as the convoy moves through each system. Would work for having one opposing group per system too. You'd see Bundschuh in New Berlin, LWB in Stuttgart and Rheinland Wild in Cologne for example.

W event, tons of fun.
Kudos to everyone who showed up.
Also the liners pilots that were in endless rain of hellfires and bumps.

Overall, I enjoyed event. Fair play to the Wild for a hell of a stand in Zurich and Cologne and to the Maquis at the end

This is the point of recent developments - Maquis have been generally bottled up, naive, hoping to get Sirian support, open up Gallia, but this event and subsequent story will flip them hostile to Rheinland, Cologne+Zurich will see cooperation between gallic unlawfuls and Rheinland Lawfuls.

It's gonna be a unique node in the game, I truly hope we can get mutually extended Zois between Rheinland and Gallia for Zurich and Cologne, and yes - white Maquis problem will be fixed since Rheinland just very publicly ceremoniously and openly said Union are their best homies.

I am working abroad and couldn't attend, but watched pieces of diamonwolfs stream and event was very cool Smile

I thoroughly enjoyed the event, and I'm glad many others did as well.
I am currently in the process of collating a scoreboard together, as well as making a list of everyone who should have received the event bounty. Please remain patient regarding your money and your scores!
