well, i dont mind the color change, but blue to yellow doesnt look all that great. I'd prefer blue to black, or light blue to dark blue.

I changed the firing part to a darker hue though, the teal is a bit too bright for order ships IMO:

If you can make it glow, or use a brighter blue I think thats the way to go.
Currently it looks too dark to be nomad-y.

Maybe lighten the hue a bit? Make it a more....clear blue? As if they shoved a nommie light fighter into the turret and forced it to fire. Not literally, of course. I like the new effects as well. The blue is refreshing to the sun-burst yellow you commonly see.

I like those dark blue projectiles,looks damn cool.
Not sure for turrets,they kinda look to fishy don't like that they are curved so much.

ok, I changed the beam effect to a mix of the dark blue and teal, and it looks a lot better than just solid colors. It also transitions into that orb effect much more nicely, but I'd still like to be able to recolor the orb... help me out people, I need to know what file to change!

Definitely better, but I think they still look awkward. Talk to Silent and Lohingren about working with the .ale files to create custom FX.
