Discovery 4.85: Update 1 Released - DAnvilFan - 10-05-2009
I'm going to post a bug report here:
Got some very strange graphical glitches. I have a monitor that's set to use a 1920 by 1080 resolution. I've been using the widescreen hack for a while now without any issues. After the update, the resolution changed to what appears to be 1024 by 768. I checked the freelancer.ini file and changed it back to 1920 by 1080. No change. Checked my PerfOptions.ini and everything is normal there. Checked my Font files as well, and the camera file too.
Everything looks good, but I get the same glitches -- including invisible letters when I type messages and a partially invisible HUD. Also, when NPCs talk to you their avatar covers the entire screen.

Someone explain to me why the Barragers got raped? They were already just about the worst guns money could buy in Sirius. Low damage, high energy usage, medium range at best... their only redeeming quality was refire rate and now that's gone.:nono:

It only dings the profits by 5%, and that's just one way. It's fair enough, especially considering that it reduces the risk of transporting Cardamine significantly.
Good job on the update; I'm on my way now to check to see whether the transport turrets mkIV actually have 3k range!

My route was 210 credits per thingy now its 195 credits per thingy.
Thats dandy, really.
ONLY 5%? Really. Now I only make 13m in my 5k on the Cardi part instead of 15m. Now Grinding is even more fun! Thank you devs!

If you get jacked, you're only losing 400 credits per item instead of 1000. that's the risk.
