' Wrote:They aren't civilians. When their uniform is on, they are military personnel. A part-time soldier is still a soldier. In fact, the UK has near enough the exact same thing in the Territorial Army. However, a militia is nothing like part-time soldiers.

The closest thing in the States would be the Minutemen and militias that fought against the Redcoats in the War of Independence. In the UK, there is no real parallel (although some Canadians may beg to differ regarding 1812).

Perhaps you should read then, Blunt. I said I liken this to the US's National Guard before it became part of the Army. Since, if you have any knowledge of the Army National Guard, you'd understand it was born in 1636. It was originally known as the militia.

Here, since you seem to think you know it all, yet are sorely lacking. A link to the National Guard's history. Not to mention it states this militia was based of its English equivalent, of which you claim they never had.

Zelot.......you are a history nut? I did not know this. I will perhaps annoy you on skype one day. I love history but didn't pursue it, instead I went into networking.

Aaaalright.

Enough talking about history, pretty please?

Alright, let me make this clear, ok?

The Bretonian Citizens Army, is a Militia, and I don't think it matters if the Colonial army used them or if Mehenistan did, according to some sources the UK have used Militia in the past, and if that isn't right.

Well, you know what?

That doesn't mean that Bretonia wouldn't:)

Now, if theres any more feedback to give, it would be awesome!!

Take care

As I've said before.

Great idea.

I don't think much can go wrong when it's in your hands. So I'm looking forward to RPing with you.

Maybe you should team up with the Mandalorian Mercenaries.

The problem with this is that the MM~ can travel virtually anywhere while the BCA| would have to stay in the Bretonian regions, mainly Bretonia Proper.

The idea is sound, and I would believe that's what you mean, in which case it would most likely happen from time to time when MM~ is running about in Bretonia.

The Bretonian Citizens Army - Serpentis - 04-07-2010

*coughs*

BCA can, in theory move everywhere aswell, cause of the Freelancer ID, but -should- stay in Bretonia and it's core space..

How ever, we have NOT planned on moving outside Bretonia either so -chuckles-

Thanks for the positive comments so far.:)
