for that metter it's hard to RP as a zoner, I am flying a fearless, and I recall in the first day crosairs started to kill zoners for fun, I exited O-74 to theta and I saw 8 crosairs ossis, at first I thought.. "huh?", then they weak RP (which is an overrated word for their RP, since it's much less then weak), was "Zoner destroyer, kill it" 8 mortars being launched at me before I can even think "WTF?!?".
wow guys you are one bounch of nice peeps, unlucky me I had a d/c, so I couldn't tkae photos, because as far as I recall, that won't pass any engangement rule. (BTW those corsairs had no tag except one that was anarchist), so for now I just gather Zoners, to strike in Gamma make silly sairs pay for the damage and loses they caused to the Zoners, both fanancially and in life. (but unlike them I won't be a fail RP, I will kill crosairs that mostly are fromhe official factions, not each and evey corsair is PvPWhore, anyone that would like to join PM me).

I really hate to see you guys go but I completely understand. Both OSI and the ZTC started at the same time and it was fun developing our factions together. I wish you guys the best in whatever you decide to do.

You should realize that a decision for roleplay cannot allow striding apart from it.
Sure, Zoners are worse in PvP than Sairs, errr, so what? Eye-hand-coordination can be learned, and I'm actually enjoying the battlefield in Theta right now. A little distraction from "please don't use you weapons inside the NFZ" :D
The powergaming by Sair players - occasional or not, fun or not, it really doesn't matter for the current situation - could have been solved RP wise on the forums, but - hell - why?
As long as players do not acknowledge that the actions of their characters do really have consequences, it's not really RP, and in addition, once in a deciding situation of some scope there have to be real consequences. Forging everything to the own ends is the first step of spoiling the imaginary universe the community is playing in.
The Corsairs are commonly approves as a "strong" faction inRP, perhaps not alway by RP, but -hey- who's flawless? Guess nobody. So it's actually logical that the Zoners, people who've fled the colonial rule won't accept just another ruler, and it's very likely that the Zoners would have lost.
Their options?
Meh, a real alliance with Outcasts? Sair whip or Outcast whip, only the direction of the leashes differs.
If roleplay is not reliable there's no need to do it at all.
So what? Enjoy the next days until we know how the situation in Theta will resolve.
... and the ZTC guys won't vanish. I hope they'll carry the torch of RP on here.

This is quite a sad course of action but also a decision made on strong principles. Too bad, it's just too bad.
