TLDR. Voted "meh".

Way too many red cells. Like Zoners or IMG red with BHG. Or Vigilante ID which: "Can only land on Bounty Hunter, Zoner, IMG, (...) bases" but is a red cell with them.

Non hostile faction relations should be white cells, cause it cripples RP opportunities.

The tech chart is fine, just needs a few tweaks here and there..

However, in "Sirius" Ships are destroyed daily from all factions around, tech is allways gonna be left around.. there's surly no harm in having a few guns per ship fron other factions..

For example, a titan with a couple of krakens imo is fine, just as a sabre with tizzies. Both sides loose countless units to one another daily, their tech is everywhere..

Just my opinion, I'm sure there's many who dissagrea.

Of course there are many who 'disagree'.
By that logic you would have all and everyone mounting Nomad lasers and god knows what else.

Also, I doubt any Outcast would use a Corsair technology, or the other way around.

Thus, my vote goes to "I love it".

Some things seem strange (for example, why can Freelancers use Border World tech when Independent Traders can't?), some IDs are missing.

Other than that, it seems good. Speaking as a new ( ~1week ) player, it has certainly helped me make decisions and avoid combining things that shouldn't be combined.

You are blowing it completly out of prepaution.

Not in the slightest.. How often are nomads even seen INRP, or ingame for that matter !?

Oh and speaking of which, the Order have a.. fair ammount of interaction with them INRP, they have Nomad blasters, do they not ?

back to my point, as corsairs and outcasts both INRP and ingame fight SO regularly, there would be almost endless ammounts of eachothers tech just floating around for the junkers to pick up.. Please understand the Outcasts and Corsairs here are meerly used as an example.

I think the tech chart is too restrictive of some things. For instance: LWB not being able to use Red Hessian guns? The Red Hessians built them Darmstadt. I think they would loan them Natterturn Zweis. Other situations like that exist in there too. Lightening it up would be excellent in my opinion.

Otherwise, it's good to have the rules there, laid out in a chart for everyone to look at.

We all know if there wasn't Tech Chart, All factions would use the same ships and guns.

But the restrictions should be adapted to the Balance i think.

For example, the council which uses old material and guns has no reason to use only one kind of guns i think.
It would be good to have more flexibility, specially whan you fight the faction having the best equipment

Actually, i would prefer a Chart like : "Player X can use faction Y weapons under conditions, if conditions are not respected, then guns are retired or sanctions by faction etc...", this will force to respect RP, ID anf IFF.
Though this may be difficult to materialize in game technically...

I liked the tech chart- at first.

As time wears on it feels more and more like a tightening noose, however.

That's the idea.

Love it, and keep as is.

The idea is to choke out roleplay?

Ok then.
