Xbox 360. I've got one, love it to death. never had a problem with it. As long as you get the cooling fan for the back, not a problem will come your way.

If you play it sitting up on; like | instead of ___ DON"T TILT IT EVARRR!!! it scratches your CD and /gg video game.
Plus, 360 has Oblivion with HOURs AND HOURs of entertainment.
No contest.

But, really, if you want a console, get a Wii. The Computer can do everything that an XBox 360 and PS3 can do, only much better.

i too was one of those that was behind buying a PC over a console....until recently. i can't currently afford a PC capable of running the latest games at their peak graphics and without lag and if i could afford one it would only be a peak PC for a short time (all based off of personally experience)
with a console, especially the latest ones, the games are made specifically for the console therefore the graphics are aligned to the hardware and theoritically there shouldn't be any lag.
also despite the high price of the latest consoles they are still by far cheaper than a high end PC.
plus i have a $5,000 entertainment system to play the console on.....just need to buy the right console. right now i'm leaning heavily toward a PS3

and the PS3 isn't as much of a nazi with digital restrictions management (digital rights management) as the 360. another good reason to buy.

I'm guessing it's more of a "which company do i like" rather than a "which is actualy the best" kind of question. Personaly, i find the 360 way more "experienced" so to say. Playstation has always come over as some kind of tinker toy to me.
