This has already been said but I feel it needs repeating.
You, the commander, may feel that way - but does the whole of you 300-400 crew? So you think that with your 4-5 ships you have the total command of 1500 officers, dedicated to now shooting at the navy?
That's just stupid. If we're talking RP terms, a mutany against that idea would happen almost immediately.
There are also groups out there *already* who are against the LN and LNS, namely HF.

I've seen one of you guys in game and I was pleased.
But before stealing a navy warship it might be a good idea to discuss the whole "rogue" RP with the leader of the faction in question.

If roleplay is the thing you're seeking, then why don't you guys use pirate ID's and sabres/eagles?
You can request navy ships later if the SRP is open again.

Abusing the Civilian ID restrictions gets you an exemption from that rule.
There's a precedent or two.
