While planting the explosives on the pillar, Jack noticed that the door to the armory was opened, and while he was connecting all the wires, he turned towards Joe.
Jack Aubrey: Go now! Don't worry about me. Jack noticed that Joe was a bit worried, but he made him a smile to make him understand that everything will be fine.
Jack Aubrey: Close the door, and when you hear a blast, come out.

With his handgun in his one hand and a grenade in the other he busted caps in one of the nomads and threw the 'nade to the other ones.
Joe : Get this!
The blast from the grenade blew one of the nomads to the ground and even Joe could feel the shockwave.
Joe : Jack! We need to get in there!
One of the "Bullets" or beams almost hit Joe while he hurried back to Jack. He kept surpressing fire on the nomads, but that's easier said than done with a handgun.

He hurried in the armory and with a last look at Jack he closed the door.

He opened his radio communicator..
Dave : Jack, what's the status over there is everything fine ?
Dave thought that maybe the defense systems could go on...
Dave : Do you think the defenses could be reactivated ?

Their time was running out quickly, and when Joe entered in the armory, sealing the door behind him, Jack started to run, to run like from hell itself. Occasionally turning back to shoot some bullets in the targets following him. Several lasers beams almost hit him, but when he almost passed by the armory, he triggered the explosive with his detonator.
He slowed down a bit, knocking on the armory's door, to make sure that Joe was all fine inside.
Jack Aubrey to Dave Synk: We have a problem, the breach that I made opened a gap between our level and yours. And it seems like electricity is going down, you'll be in complete darkness in about ten minutes, and those things are camouflaged in it. I suggest that you find a way out from there soon.

Joe heard the knocking on the door and some radio chatter. He aimed his gun at the door and opened it, you may never know if it's an enemy. The door slid open and he saw Jack. He lowered his gun and quickly walked a bit into the Armory.
Joe : Look sir, what i've found.
He held up a big looking gun and a lot of rounds.
Joe : Enhanced Assault Rifles, Erik and Dave could use this aswell.
He responded to Erik with a confirmation. Joe looked at Jack with a cheeky grin, he reached into his jacket and grabbed his cigar. He lit it and drew upon it.
Joe : You sure that you don't want one sir? Just this one time?

Dave took the sphere from the middle of the deactivated artifact, and he ran to Erik.
Dave : Erik where we need to go ? Also boost the light of the plasma torch ! And keep your eyes open.
