The bad guys are better coordinated, better equipped, and better at fighting. I guess that playing a lawful is something you do when you're new, and I'm so over that now. Any pirate groups looking for people?

First, if you bring battleship against that, you get yelled at by primary navy for using overpowa force. Who cares about capital of Liberty, be fair kay?

And also, pirates are usually the considered "better " players of the server, especially in pvp skills. Equal lawful force is no match. BUt oh, be fair, as per above.

Oh. The grammar in your thread's title implied that this was a thread directed at many pirates, not one about there being too many pirates ingame.

"Be fair", what? There are criminals zooming around the capital system of your house in warships, destroying traders for fun, and they want you to "be fair"? Bullcrap. If a hostile warship shows up in the capital, it should be immediately and thoroughly spanked by all available units.

The pirates don't care about being fair, why should the lawfuls? Maybe if the pirates didn't have free reign they wouldn't be so much of a problem.

But that does a pretty good job of explaining things, thanks.

That's not true. Real pirates would take all of your money, all of your cargo, and blow you up anyway.

Trade inside gallia, there are hardly any pirates there and if you hupen and meet one trust/trafe for 10k and some badass NPC will take him off your ass

I think I was there as that happened, the pirate fleet just went into NY and got smashed by the Lake.Erie a few gunboats and a cruiser a few minutes ago. The BPA even made an appearance just befor the pirate force was dispersed.

To many Pirates. - Hielor - 04-16-2011

Oh yeah, I almost forgot! Those two Liberty gunboats said almost nothing the entire time, both beforehand while we were waiting at the jump gate and after the pirates showed up through the gate, before the fighting started.

And then they certainly took their sweet time about joining the fight, too. Pretty sure the battlecruiser had already left by the time the first Liberty gunboat started firing.

Certainly could've used the Lake.Erie for the battle at the gate. I guess after the lawfuls got so thoroughly smashed at the gate, the criminals went further in-system and roused up some more trouble.

Step one ~ LEAVE NEW YORK
This ...

' Wrote:Exactly reason I avoid Liberty. Exactly the reason I metagame, powergame and what-not game whenever I can to avoid every possible pirate. And even if they get to me, I rather destroy my cargo and then die, then paying them a coin.

Honestly dude, get out of Liberty. Leave it to rot with its supposed naval and police forces and all those so called rogue pirates. Its all one big pvp cover. But that is everywhere, so no rest for you I say.

[... bla bla bla ...]
... and some of this.

If you are metagaming/powergaming ... why are you on this server to RP again? Seems like you are ooRP yourself:lol:

' Wrote:Ya know, listening to all this makes me want to have my Liberty Freelancer, Dane Summers, join the Navy and hunt down pirates. certainly sounds like i wouldnt have to go far to find 'em

Sound good?
I made a pirate character yesterday

To sum it up to the OP (whatever OP means):
  • Leave Liberty, or accept the fact that there are a lot of pirates who have insufficient RP skills.
  • Chill out and take other routes.
  • Create a vigilante ID'd ship and hunt the pirates;)

' Wrote:Nope. It is the chat screen. People log in,they look who is on,and then pick Pirate,or lawful so they can join the gank squad. Everyone has both,so they pick what ever char they know they will be on winning side with.
So i repeat.

DISCO IS BROKE!!!

Getting in late on this one. While the above is mostly true,I,for one,do not have / nor will I have a "pirate" char.I am one of the few that , reguardless of the odds, will always play my Navy chars,or LSF,or that 1 LPI ship I keep forgettin about.
