I've noticed some weird bug... In Omicron Eta, if player gets exspensive (800.000-990000 SC) mission at the Etna base (Corsairs) against Outcasts, nothing happens when he arrives to the mission waypoint, and also unable to abort it.

OK,
after my mistake about the installation, all goes well... (except for the server crashes)
but I was hoping I would get easier connection with 4.86,
I always get these next error's...
and I have to wait about 15 minutes and several tries later to get online...
I've seen these errors before and tried everything (i think) posted on the forum in the past but nothing helps...

then I return back to the server-screen
it would be excellent if this problem gets solved once and all...

because this is a mayor drag on the superb game

That's not a bug. Happens when server's full and more then one people try connect at same time -.-

That strange because I have the same problem when trying to connect to an empty server...
and while I'm at it....
why does my startupscreen turn to black ... in a flickering way with this only in the left-tophand corner

Thats the bloom effect you have installed
As for your first problems, i have that to, i find playing on other servers fixes the problem, a lot less fun, but i have had 0 success gaining a stable connection to discovery rp servers.
The problem is fixable, i just don't know how, but i can play discovery RP servers with OLD crappy laptops, just not with new expensive pc's.
I theorized possibly firewall issues or one of the 100 other start up apps. Im going to multiboot a "freelancer" windows xp pro and keep it vanilla and try that, will let you know if it works out.
My ping is 226 - 326 on discovery servers, 0% fluct 0% loss 0% lag
How bout yours?

1ste this is a new FL installation and only 486.exe on it... so no extra installments

this is an old pc... bought in 2000... maxed out tho...
