RP is a essence, you cant really define it, If you can define how each player RP's, you found the essence,! thats RARE, thats the fun part of the RP, every player even from same factions RP somehow different, [always follows the base RP dictated to keep congruence]
Its to get in your cockpit, and enjoy, from lauzy RP gamers, to the sweetest one, from any faction mainly, IND, normally dont follow the string as factions, which only makes it more interesting....

As for the Corsairs - what Govedo said would be a slight misconception. For an outsider, it might seem that they are roleplaying, but they just shoot stuff. Roleplaying means you provide context for such an action. 90% of the Corsair player base are complete idiots and do not care what they shoot and why do they shoot it. They just shoot.

Although PvP is a part of RP, RP is not an excuse for PvP. (Or more accurately, an excuse to shoot everything for the sake of shooting at it)

I have been surprised on this server more then once. While I maintain there is a difference in rp between here and other areas id perfer, this is the only sci fi ish outlet out there right now...
Cant seem to find anything better. and for that discovery i think remains as it has. Needed.. essential. but somewhat underrated under appreciated.. and most of all addictive.
