Relative Faction/House Millitary Strength... - Barbarossa - 04-17-2012 ' Wrote:Outcasts - They have that cardamine advantage but every time someone dies, it's a big hit with the issues of fertility. The fact they aren't really in big competition helps them a bit, though with Gallia nearby who knows?Outcasts are more skilled, but Corsairs are two times bigger to compensate. And thats why I said before that its nearly impossible to differ Sairs and OC's, its incomparable. Hessians should probably be something less than Corsairs, both in numbers and technological advantage. Relative Faction/House Millitary Strength... - Pancakes - 04-17-2012 The only thing I don't get is the part that people put Council rated in a way that there is noway they could stand against GRN - fact is that they did. The main fleet, and the larger one, is so large and well supplied that the GRN can't break through it - can't send their fleets to Champagne. I'd put the Council not so far from Bretonia - who is the weakest house of all currently (Maybe Kusari is weaker, but not by much to my guessing). EDIT: Also the corsairs are way more numerous than one might think. The only problem is that corsairs are not united, they are separated to many smaller clans each with its own agenda. It's even suggested that if corsairs would stop their inner conflicts and organize a built nation and army they could fight toe to toe with a house fleet. Relative Faction/House Millitary Strength... - Rosa.Klebb - 04-17-2012 Forget RP Lets go with reality and what is actually going on in the server: 1) Rheinland tops all. They have the skill and activity, MASSIVE player base, and organization 2) Liberty comes in with a distant second due the size of its player base. 3) Bretonia 4) Hessians due to skill, activity, size of its player base, and organization of the player base (blobo is king???) 5) SCRA due to skill, activity, and EXCELLENT organization 7) Kusari 8) BHG/Core due to numbers and ability to summon Thresher/Bomber swarms of DOOM 9) IMG- In large swarms the miners can dish out alot of pain 10) Corsairs- TBH & Benitez (and a handful of others) are the only reason why the Corsairs are considered. Relative Faction/House Millitary Strength... - ProwlerPC - 04-17-2012 LMAO the lore will never be based on player activity  Otherwise one day we might find ourselves saying Xenos are the top military faction in Disco  edit add: how did I wake up one day to find the other guilds, the younger guilds, are fielding better militaries, or CR or SCRA lol? I'm pretty sure they're still like 96% short of being as numerous as one of the houses Relative Faction/House Millitary Strength... - Rosa.Klebb - 04-17-2012 ' Wrote:LMAO the lore will never be based on player activity  Including the 50 million indie liberty caps... NAH  But still kinda silly to have Bretonia invaded and loosing when there are barely any GRN around. Plenty of other situations where what is written in lore and what really is happening in-game is completely and totally different Edit: I'm taking into account player base size, player base and faction skill, player base and faction organization, & player base and faction activity Relative Faction/House Millitary Strength... - ProwlerPC - 04-17-2012 Well based on player activity. Twice the RM players brought in their fleet into the Sigmas at Kusari's request and twice they got reduced to scrap with almost no loss from their opponants. This happening while at war with Liberty and some player thing also with Bretonnia. While on the flip side some RM players mustered up a fleet that was able to camp New York for awhile. Player activity is a bit too much of a rollercoaster ride in an unrealistic game mechanic engine to be used as a benchmarker for lore. Thats why you have the devs & admins look at the way thing have gone say with RM and Liberty for like 2 or 3 months. If seen as its been a stalemate then nothing changes. If seen as Liberty is totally smashing RM left and right then Liberty gains some ground. Next eval period around RM is back to whooping butt so they gain back what they lost. Allow things to be fluid and change with the flow of how the game is. Relative Faction/House Millitary Strength... - Benjamin - 04-17-2012 I don't think this is really a game that would benefit from being fluid Relative Faction/House Millitary Strength... - P4ND3M0N!UM - 04-17-2012 I think the concept of french people having that many babies in only 800 years is pretty racist. |
