All hands abandon ship.

<3 Joe.

In fact Mr. Lens, the sanction que only has 4 or 5 open at the moment.

Oh Zelot, you had to ruin the funny. Bad Zelot.

Joe, good luck in the black. Although I now have to figure out who else I can bitch to about Zelot over there.

In my opinion, discovery should not need an admin team. The spirit of the rules, roleplay and (in my opinion) fair play, should be things which are just instilled within the players as they arrive here. A situation like this would mean that at no point would punitive or reactionary measures be required in responce to breaches of the rules.
[...]
The passive and opinionless people are just as bad for the admin team as the needlessly angry and hostile people. How can you know if you're doing the right thing, if you recieve no feedback? It's your job as players to ensure the feedback you're giving is constructive and helpful and doesn't consist of deliberately trying to make people angry.

^ Very interesting words, really.

Hope you have, from now, more fun playing.

Thanks for your work, time and effort.

As someone who is an admin in two different communities, one with 3 servers, one with like 10, I can relate to the stress being an admin has at times.

Granted, the servers I'm an admin in probably only have like 4000 or so people who join them fairly regularly. Not sure how much traffic the Disco server gets, but based on the 90k or so users registered on this forum, I am guessing it's quite a bit more than only 4000 people, which translates into a lot more work and stress.

So yee, np, and Deep Blue > Blue Solution.

Thanks for all of the hard work, Joe. I look forward to seeing you ingame.:)

Joe,

In the time that you've been an admin here, I have to honestly say that you've been one of the best ones I've seen around. You are genuine, caring, and always accepting of anyone's mistakes. You squashed dummies when you had to, and you helped new players when they struggled.

In all the time I've been here, you were the best.

The admin team has lost a great member, but we have gained a wonderful player.

Thank you for all the hard work, Joe. Take a rest.

~Leo

A wise man knows when to make a wise choice.

Welcome to the player, the admins will have a hard time replacing such an epic Joe though!
