Artisan Farmers Alliance Feedback - bluntpencil2001 - 03-25-2009 ' Wrote:Isn't that a bit unfair to the AFA, considering that tons of player factions (Privateers included) don't exist in the original Freelancer at all?Not really. The privateers aren't changing anything. They're something extra that's tacked on. The regular BAF's job doesn't change. This is taking something and changing it. Not adding something new. So if some of the AFA tacked on some extra letter to their name and called it a special unit, would you be satisfied then? If they were the Farmhand Volunteer Wing of the KNF, well... that might wash. Artisan Farmers Alliance Feedback - Zelot - 03-25-2009 ' Wrote:Not really. Adrian, I tire of this, I have answered your questions, You have said your piece, your not changing my mind, you dont like it, send a sanction report. Just because you and drake dont like something doesnt mean its wrong. Just because you are pissed that people think you should go all the way to New Tokyo when you dont have the supply lines to reasonably do it, does not mean you are right in regards to the AFA. Now, dont let the door hit you on the way out. Ask the traders whom I demand regens, ammo and all sorts from! Artisan Farmers Alliance Feedback - Zelot - 03-25-2009 Well folks as you can see, Blunty has selective vision, he takes a few words out of a whole post, ignoring the rest, and acting like those few words represent your arguments. Isnt he just the best? Edit, and just to satisfy my curiosity, why is it that in the year or so the Farmers have been operating in Bretonia, that you just decided this was such a horrible travesty that we were there? Might it be we are winning now? Edit 2: I GOT IT! I know whats gotten Blunty so upset all of a sudden, He is from Glasgow.... He is upset the Kusari took his station. His home town pride is hurt folks. Isnt he just the best? Same reason you started whining about New Tokyo, despite operating there since 2007. And my home town is one hundred miles north-west.;)Nice attack on the person, instead of the argument. And my home town is one hundred miles north-west.;)Nice attack on the person, instead of the argument. And now that we are back to the reason for this, the fact that I criticized the Privateers. Well as this is the AFA feedback thread, I will lay it out this way, and then I will go to sleep or wash the cloths or anything really, as it would be a better use of my time. AFA operating in Leeds ( We only operate in Leeds not NL, not Cambridge, not Manchester) We have 6 friendly or Allied bases in system or within 1 jump. Privateers operating in Kusari (They seem to operate in Kyushu, New Tokyo and Honshu) Have 1 single base (Ainu) to dock in Hokkaido, and the BMM base in Tau23 to operate in all of Kusari. By a process of logical deduction, the AFA are in a far better situation from a logistical standpoint to be operating in Leeds, than the Privateers are working in Kusari. Now maybe if you could actually take any criticism of your faction without just attempting to turn it around and attack the person criticizing you, we could have an actual discussion of what people's Zoi should be. We also could have saved the last 4 pages in this thread. But seeing as you cant take criticism of your faction, I will just go about my business, and my factions business as we see fit. Artisan Farmers Alliance Feedback - bluntpencil2001 - 03-25-2009 It's motivation, not supply here. Farmers have no reason to be in Bretonia. They could have all sorts of ways and methods to get there, but that's irrelevant, since there's no reason. Want to fight in the war? Join the KNF. Artisan Farmers Alliance Feedback - LoTeK_ - 03-25-2009 What I think is that to an action...correspond a reaction. This is a non scripted law that operates from when the human kind exist, and will not refrain from doing so in a near future, I foresee. The privateers weren't there in vanilla freelancer, so it's something new, not just extra or somethin', they even got their personal ID for that and that nice special rp request. So all of it suggest the word 'add', and the word 'extra' is just a synonym to that same word, to my view at least. We can debate all the time you want on it and it won't change this, nor they way I see them as something 'new' to Freelancer, which isn't a bad thing of course, mind, but please have the decency to not to move certain accusations when you are in a not-so comfortable position as well. I'm <strike>quite</strike> sure both of you are working hard for your factions and the outburst of both is just awesome. But, if you, blunt, were really expeting us to turn a blind eye on such a great strategical advantage then I'm quite disappointed...and I feel even slightly insulted, as after this I somehow feel you're wanting us to pass like fools, which means you think we are. Kusari works differently from Bretonia, we don't have and will not have Privateers, but we can work out of it well with already present assets as our political situation, with some 'extra?' work, allows it.
