Just last week in Toronto where i live some 18year old in a acura cut off a big rig. The truck swerved to avoid, went into a concrete pillar of an over pass, and was killed as the 60000 pounds of pipe he was hauling crushed his cab, and leaving his wife a widow, and 3 kids fatherless.

Did the driver of the Acura cut off the semi driver KNOWING it would lead to his death? I highly doubt it.

It's called an accident. A tragic one to be sure, but an accident none the less.

People make mistakes. That's expected. Most of them don't brag about them on public forums, but to each his own I suppose.

An accident is something that cannot be avoided. That was something that with a little patience, or respect of other drivers could have been avoided.
Also the law also seen it as avoidable, and the kid was charged with vehicular manslaughter, and such.

Meh, semantics. I'm quite certain that the guy did not intend to kill the truck driver.

Perhaps mistake is a better word, but there are mistakes with UNINTENTIONAL consequences.

That's neither here nor there, though. I just don't agree with joking about crushing 5 cars under my semi, and it certainly wouldn't be something I would brag about.

I'm sure the owners of those cars, regardless of the mistakes that were made, didn't think it was so funny.

Any car accident is serious business....I'm awestruck that a grown man thinks its something worth bragging about, and a semi-driver no less.

Did not intend to kill the driver. Maybe, but careless none the less. It would be the same as twirling a loaded gun, while walking down main street, and claiming it was an accident when it went off, and killed someone.
My point being the kid should be the one hurt/dead for being careless/stupid/selfish, and not the truck driver that if chose not toswerve may have smashed the car, or caused it to lose control hitting concrete pillar, and with its smaller size/weight/airbags probably that driver would have gotten off maybe with an injury, or 2.
As for the cars i crushed? All walked away, as i hit them in a way, as to force them off the road, and away from other traffic.I am not a total bastard. 2 of them actually admitted it was thier fault, and said they were sorry. Surprisingly they all said "they never saw the truck" which just blows my mind how you can miss a truck if you even looked, or how you could not even here it. But eh.

Wrong, the driver swerved because HE MISSED HIS EXIT AND WANTED TO QUICKLY GET OVER, WITH NO CONCERN FOR THE OTHER DRIVERS ON THE ROAD (I can use caps too, it doesn't make you sound any more convincing or change the facts), and it cost him his life. In other words, he acted like an idiot, and risked his life as well the lives of several other drivers, it's a lucky thing he was the only one to die, and that his stupidity didn't cause more deaths. He didn't "deserve" to die, but his death was his own fault, not the fault of anyone else, especially not the fault of the truck driver.

What would you rather the truck driver did? Swerve into 10 other cars to miss the one person who swerved in front of him? You would rather the truck driver risk the lives of up to around 50 people, in order to try to save the life of this one guy who swerved? Why should those 50 innocent people pay for the mistake of one person's foolish decision?

Yes, people make mistakes. But this does not give the person who made the mistake the right to cause accidents for everybody other innocent driver around him, nor does it mean that those innocent drivers deserve be killed or hurt because of the actions of the one person's mistake.

Really dude, go distort facts and logic elsewhere.

Acctually mate i would not have. In most cases if i PM after a fight, i say Good fight when a smaller ships beats me.
As for the pirate that you say joined? I am sorry about that, but i never even seen him attack you. I figured he was on your side as he never fired on me.
Also i RP'd that i was on break, and was only going to watch the fight until the other navy asked for my assist claiming they were out of torps. So way i saw it, you had them out gunned.
So all in all i guess we were both in some ways at fault.
As for missing with Mortars, and missiles? Sure maybe, but as i stated, i could have come in cloaked, and uncloaked 50Ms away, and killed you with a 1-2 punch. But i chose to fire my mortars at 4K, then close in and use primes only to be fair.
So if you accept my apoligy for over balancing the fight? I will accept yours for the ragefest in PM after.
