RE: LOL 2 months off, and same ole Disco. - Marburg - 05-16-2013 2 months? BAH! That's nuthin' but 4-8 paychecks worth of wussy downtime. I can do 2 months standing on your head & still taste my breakfast when I burp the alphabet, considering that every time I simply blink my eyes, it's already Christmas again. I'm guessing there must be some isolated pocket of non-linear space-time; indigenous to Canadian big rigs I'm unaware of 'cause all I know is, you were ranting about something one day that I glazed over with an eye roll, then all the sudden, you made this thread. I've got bong resin in the other room that's older than 2 months. PEANUTS, MAN! MERE PEANUTS ON THE COSMIC CALENDAR!! ...i really do need to clean my bong, though. So why put it,and others at risk by being an arse, and cutting off a vehical 10times your weight, and size? Just because you want to get ahead, or home 2 minutes faster? The driver swerved because HE DIDN"T WANT TO KILL SOMEONE, and it cost him his life. In other words, he acted like a grown man ought to....regardless what the kid did, NONE of them DESERVED to DIE. You honestly think that "kid" (I'm assuming late teens/early 20) deserved to be hurt or killed because he made a mistake? Do you realize how stupid this sounds. My original point is people make mistakes. This does not give you the right to just run right over them because you can bend laws (I still have no idea what the hell that means), nor does it mean they deserved to be hurt or killed. Just whatever dude. Go run someone over. @SMG I get the hurting other people thing....I always have an exit, because that's what I was taught. Truck Drivers certainly know the same. He knew he wasn't going to hit anyone else, or he wouldn't have swerved. I know, because I looked for my out saw it wasn't there and had no choice but to hit the brakes and hope for the best. I'm an average driver. If I'm that aware of my surroundings and can decide NOT to swerve that quickly, couldn't a trained semi-truck driver who is responsible for 60000 pounds also be aware of his exit points and whether or not they're open at the time. He swerved because he saw he could...I would have. RE: LOL 2 months off, and same ole Disco. - ryoken - 05-16-2013 (05-16-2013, 04:52 AM).Flash. As for the pirate that you say joined? I am sorry about that, but i never even seen him attack you. I figured he was on your side as he never fired on me. Also i RP'd that i was on break, and was only going to watch the fight until the other navy asked for my assist claiming they were out of torps. So way i saw it, you had them out gunned. So all in all i guess we were both in some ways at fault. As for missing with Mortars, and missiles? Sure maybe, but as i stated, i could have come in cloaked, and uncloaked 50Ms away, and killed you with a 1-2 punch. But i chose to fire my mortars at 4K, then close in and use primes only to be fair. So if you accept my apoligy for over balancing the fight? I will accept yours for the ragefest in PM after. In other words, he acted like an idiot, and risked his life as well the lives of several other drivers, it's a lucky thing he was the only one to die, and that his stupidity didn't cause more deaths. He didn't "deserve" to die, but his death was his own fault, not the fault of anyone else, especially not the fault of the truck driver. What would you rather the truck driver did? Swerve into 10 other cars to miss the one person who swerved in front of him? You would rather the truck driver risk the lives of up to around 50 people, in order to try to save the life of this one guy who swerved? Why should those 50 innocent people pay for the mistake of one person's foolish decision? Do you realize how stupid that sounds? But this does not give the person who made the mistake the right to cause accidents for everybody other innocent driver around him, nor does it mean that those innocent drivers deserve be killed or hurt because of the actions of the one person's mistake. Really dude, go distort facts and logic elsewhere. You really think I'm stupid enough to think it's ok to hurt 10 other drivers to avoid hitting 1? My god.... My point is that if it can be avoided, I don't know, maybe you should TRY to avoid it, not run right through them because your able to and know you can "bend" the law in your favor. I really don't care at this point. Run over as many old ladies and teenagers as you deem appropriate. What's a human life anyways? They're a dime a dozen... On anther note, whilst I highly dislike ryoken's attitude to driving a vehicle with such a high tonnage and capability to destroy (See: 12 year old faction leaders with an ego), trucks are dangerous. Try and remember p=mv and don't try and cut them off. Yes, holding your line is bad, but it's the lesser of two evils available. RE: LOL 2 months off, and same ole Disco. - Trail - 05-16-2013 Never knew trucks didnt have brakes until this thread existed. ![]() Itabashi is still alive. Why dont you try slamming a truck into that? |
