I am sorry but I will say it again. I wasn't there myself but I have all info I need to respond. Val on the Sarissa already had 2 caps piling him. One being an Atlantis and the other one was an LABC which has a CD. And as far as I know, Val was completely alone there. I am not sure how a 3rd ship would be needed there.

If Val is a collective name for a group of players, then he was there alone, yes.
And he has easily beaten a collective Ice Princess, in part because she had a numb arm and a blindfold.

Very simple solution to this
- just go in first every fight, tell people to stand back as you are fighting.
We've stared pulling out of fights and letting 5th go in first lately when they say they won't join, and it works well, and we go in only when 5th asks us to. Sure, we miss out on the fun and blues but there's no griefing later.
People just get triggered when you stand around watching people die that ask for help saying how you won't gank
5th ship was offered a duel while we move on, he wasn't asking for that or agreeing to it fast enough and our 3rd ship disagreed - next time 5th guy will ask to get the duel I assume more vehemently.

and all is good. Sometimes people still go in anyways and you have to rage at them, but more often than not they let you have your fight.
And if even after you offer to face them alone they refuse - well then that's on them

Going on a little tangent from the whole fairplay discussion.
Having watched the linked video, I am more disappointed by the 5th player's attitude towards the others in group chat.

This has been noticed and I am currently dealing with it myself. Won't happen again, hopefully.
