Guild Defense Pilot - Raymon Lister


During my regular patrol within the Tau 23 and Tau 37 systems, I encountered two Outcasts, who were swiftly terminated to prevent any interference with civilian traffic.
Furthermore, a Rouge Pirate Train carrying cardamine in T 23 was destroyed upon refusal of releasing it's contrabant. Additionaly, an Outcast smuggling vessel was eliminated in Tau 37, with the help of another IMG defense pilot.

Today, Java was yet again sieged by major Outcast forces, including several dreadnought class vessels, gunboats and snubcraft. Even though taking losses on IMG side, the enemy was defeated with most of their ships destroyed by combined IMG and Colonial Military forces.

Today, the Guild is proud to award the Mark of the Vanguard to Mr. Raymon Lister for outstanding service in the defense of the Guild (10 confirmed kills), together with the Silver Star (5 confirmed kills of high profile targets) and the Blue Crown (total of 20 snub kills).

Crazy shit today. But we pulled it off.

It started with Sinner.Sloth, Outcast Tridente, attacking the mining operation. He held Ms. Julia Morrow at gunpoint and was shooting her Tranker Lucky Hit even during cash transfer.

The transport captain had no choice but to pay fast and under fire, yet the cold-blooded way of treating a civilian led to a reaction that no one anticipated.

Julia Morrow rescued the Annapurna Blessed Fields that got fired at by the pirate a second later by transferring bots just in time, so that both vessels could make it back to base.

Tau Defense launched to get the Tridente, could not find him and then decided to pay the Outcast back in Tau 37. As they retreated under massive gunfire, we chased into Alpha and fought our way back to Tau 23 later.

We caught our primary target, Sinner.Sloth, right in Tau 37, chased him into Alpha and destroyed his ship less than 200m from the docking ports.

This ended in the destruction of the following vessels:
  • Slovan (Outcast bomber)
  • (SR~Nergal's.Flame (Outcast Tridente)
  • Slovan II. (Outcast bomber)
  • Sinner.Sloth (Outcast Tridente)
  • WildWave (Outcast Sabre)
  • Orden.Moreno[101st] (Outcast Sabre)
  • (SR~Mr.Bruke (Outcast, class unknown to me)
  • Crimson.Shade (Outcast Zoner-Corvette)
  • Pauli (Outcast GC-bomber)

Losses on our side: Bottlenose "Polenta" and Nanda Devi "Java Two".

Crazy shit again. Never have I seen such hordes of Gunboats.

Tau 23 was teeming with Rorry (Bottlenose), Tutaskhia (Asco), 101st Metal Tango (Tridente), Mandalorian Bottlenose (MM~HeadHunteR - KIA), Asco (Avazaky - KIA) , Tridente (81-S|Silva - KIA) and after we disengaged, two mercs confirmed 4 more Tridentes arriving. If this number is true, we had 9 Gunboats against us in the end.

Obviously we disengaged.

Yet we put up a fight and stood our ground with a pure bomber and fighter squadron and took out 3 Gunboats and 2 snubs, while losing 1 bomber:

  • Tridente "81-S|Silva"
  • Asco "Avazaky"
  • Bottlenose "MM~HeadHunteR"
  • 2 snubs that I cannot classify as they were taken out by our fighters

Convoy report: "The Flower" was flying today in a convoy that transported Silver Ore from Omega 7 to Harris. From there we took supplies to Tau 39 Fort Siloso.

We recruited Adam.Rushmore into our ranks during the flight. He did well on the flight.

There was not much to report from this flight, as it was clear. After returning to the Taus, however, hell broke loose so that we had to abandon the plans of mining again.

Hello. This is recruit Clark Clemens reporting for the first time!
From the moment when I joined the Guild to now,I saw what we really are about.
I did simple jobs like mining ore and transporting it to our storage facilities to dangerous jobs like transporting it through a large part of Sirius where lots of pirates and hostiles could be encountered and of course flying in one of IMG fighter defense wings.

Well,this is what I managed to shoot down. I believe one camera shot is lost because someone's decided to hand me over a second hand ship and the camera on it was not working! *sighs*

Claire Owens here,

This time I'm reporting in as a pilot instead of just behind a desk. Falster has its daycare centre in full swing, and if the station is going to be under attack I will be one of the first ones out there defending it. Of course, filling out bounty forms gets you a bit restless for combat...

One such spot of active self-defence was against that Rorry and his alien craft. Alongside a Reaper, a bored Hunter and our own pilots, there was soon only antimatter left. Will see if Bill Cody is still paying for those, heard it was quite a price.

I also babysat a convoy from the Omegas to Harris and Java, only a couple of rookie Molly gunboats hassling our new recruit to worry about. Took a couple of pictures, and Ms. Morrow has given her view on it as well.

Convoy report: oh my God am I tired. Another urgent delivery to New Berlin was necessary. Again our departure from the Taus was delayed by fighting with the Outcast. But we went on our way and arrived safely at Berlin with Niobium.

We stocked up on Basic Alloys for Falster and arrived there safely after a shock moment when we spotted an UNS Cruiser, but we could lose it.

Jessica Ferres escorted us very well, managed to break lanes in time and I guess it is her doing that kept this late run clear of any danger.

We fought again today, again against the Outcast hordes. Again in my bomber, faithful sturdy Roc took quite a beating but made it back. Reavers were assisting us and I made sure they were paid.

We lost quite some bombers to Supernova bombers and a Pulse-Razor Asco that attacked with snub support and a battleship. A second gunboat joined and was taken out. The Battleship could be taken out by a Colonial Battleship.

As the guncam shows, the Commander of the Outcast Battleship tried to flee by cloaking, but concentrated fire, torpedos and Battleship direct fire made it explode while disappearing.

Afterwards, I launched with my Bottlenose Gunship to scare off the remaining contacts, which worked. They dispersed and did not come back.

I am signing off. Have to get some sleep after checking on our wounded. Thank god I am alive and healthy after today. Insanity on the loose, today.

Guild Defense Pilot - Raymon Lister


Several days ago I attended to escort duty on a rather small convoy from the Omegas to the Taus, over Bretonia. The flight was quiet, no damage was dealt to any of the transports.
However, a supply operation of the same convoy was interrupted in the Kyushu system, by Tutashkia. We managed to outmaneuver him and got home safely.

This week I eliminated two Outcast fighters, one Outcast bomber as well as one Outcast cruiser, "Corvo" class, in several engagements.
