Orca receives a different model. The new model is larger, has the same amount of guns, but a bigger front-firing cannon. This was done per request of the BHG faction. The Bottlenose will remain unchanged.

Not the least of which that Dusty is being quoted. But feel free to hit me up on Skype some time. Cruiser versus transport plus universal engagment allowance on the ID would be just another recipy for griefing, much like what happened with those Scorps-on-Steroids in 4.85 - and I'm done from the dev end on making allowances for those... You get the gun tech of all 4 houses with few restrictions, and the ability to use nearly any sub-cruiser craft and equipment combi in the game. Isn't that enough yet?
I've been trying to get a few factions to call in since I haven't got a clue what they're up to, and in some cases, even what they are about. (RoS, Hellfire). That makes prepping for them difficult, and will probably cause a few raised eyebrows come the player beta - but that's allright, that's why it's a beta.

why - state one reason why the bottlenose should be for the bounty hunter factions only. - ( i guess you mean further to the usual tech nerfs )

the concepts are as follows:

- bottlenose : dedicated anti-snub
- orca : dedicated anti-capital ship

they won t overlap their missions too much.

global adjustments - no need to unload GB turrets - but if there will be - there will most certainly be a notice shortly before the release of 87

Update: Working on the new Rheinland container transport prepared by Jinx. Another tough one to hitbox... damn you and your round shapes! Big Grin
