Liberty Navy [LN] - SnakThree - 04-05-2011 Gold is used for your weapons manufacture. Why do you think Detroits Munitions pay well for gold ore? Edit: At least I pay 40-50% of rpofits to escorting due to the fact it makes trading not so boring. Liberty Navy [LN] - Korny - 04-05-2011 Right, give me a logical explanation why Gold Ore would be used for Weapon manufacturing. Liberty Navy [LN] - Razr - 04-05-2011 ' Wrote:Gold is used for your weapons manufacture. Why do you think Detroits Munitions pay well for gold ore? Thanks for the chuckle, but gold isn't used for guns, but if you read the info on it, I know you can read, can't you? You'll see that it says gold is a rare resource and due to the difficulty involved in finding it, its price increases by a certain percentage each year. Oddly enough it even states what it is used for. Jewelry and just a collector's item for the rich. Liberty Navy [LN] - mtjsmith - 04-05-2011 Quote:Come on. Escort haulers sometimes. Then Quote:I know you are not the ones to escort shipments that inRP fuels your war efforts. So if you already know that we are not an escorting faction, why are you wasting our time with this complaint? We have been known to escort a trader from time to time, usually for sensitive cargo or for a diplomatic mission. If you actually want escorting from A) -> B) then most trade routes pass from one house to another and we cannot enter Kusari/Bretonia unless invited or the aforementioned diplomatic mission and Rheinland when we want to pew them. So generally because of most trader's routes, we do not escort. Now if you're being pirated, or if we're patrolling and see a trader in trouble then of course we will move to try and protect you. The thing is that Liberty is full of criminals, we can't stop them all. Liberty Navy [LN] - SnakThree - 04-05-2011 Yes. Ageira is jewelary making corporation. They smelt gold ore for sold purposes of making population happy with shiny stuff. Gold is quite inactive metal that hardly react with other elements. Same as platin and silver. That's why it does improve weapon reliability and accuracy. Liberty Navy [LN] - Jihadjoe - 04-05-2011 Snak3, you used to be in the [LN], you already know that escorting traders is not something we are focused towards. Liberty Navy [LN] - Razr - 04-05-2011 ' Wrote:Yes. Ageira is jewelary making corporation. They smelt gold ore for sold purposes of making population happy with shiny stuff. Please tell me where this information is written anywhere within Discovery or even Freelancer lore, a rumor or anything. Either way, you've basically degenerated from your original complaint into a debate about whether or not you're right about some fact you pulled from your rear, thank you for your time and come again. Liberty Navy [LN] - SnakThree - 04-05-2011 @ Haggis Sarcasm is subtle thing. And I was in Magellan when I tried asking but not even a response was given. @ Joe Yeah. I know... But why don't your guys do not want to RP with lawfuls a bit more. Rather then PvP most of the time. @ razr Not me. I was asked question and gave an answer to it. Don't put blame on me. Liberty Navy [LN] - Razr - 04-05-2011 ' Wrote:@ Haggis You asked and answered a question? Does this mean you're talking to yourself, because then the lack of logic would make a lot more sense. Liberty Navy [LN] - Jihadjoe - 04-05-2011 ' Wrote:@ Joe Oh... they RP with plenty of lawfuls. Please provide a babsis for this statement. Now... I'm gunna make a fairly big assumption here, and forgive me if I'm wrong... I guess that what sparks this feedback whinging moment is a situation in which you were attacked by a pirate in california, while carrying a load of gold ore, and got blown up. Since the pirate didn't do anything wrong, but you felt annoyed by the situation, you felt the need to come and whine at the Navy for not showing up to save your ass. If that's the case, your feedback has very little to do with roleplay, and it somewhat more to do with trying to displace blame for something happening in game, totally unrelated to the people you're talking with now, because you don't think the situation was to your personal gain. In short Snak3, we don't go escorting traders, because if we made that into policy, we'd never do anything else. We RP with plenty of 'lawful' types a lot of the time. You kinda ca't help it when you're surrounded by them. But you know as well as I do that the majority of your time in the LN is spent running from one emergency to the next. Having a happy little chat with a gold ore hauler from dumblin is neither the most important, nor the most fun thing we could be doing. Please stop posting in my feedback thread. You have no basis to complain at the LN. |
