Well I don't think you'll find a single dev that disagrees that we should push smaller updates. The only thing is nobody currently active really knows how to make that work (rofl)
Auto updater is still questionable in terms of actually functioning, and we lose storyline lead after storyline lead (among other lead devs) due to other games or burn out. Once 4.87 hits the idea was to start releasing smaller updates (for reals this time - ye exactly like we promised on 4.86 release) but I honestly have no idea how that will work out.

It appears to be bugged in some way, though inbox is empty, I'm still notified that I'm at 100% of my storage space.

@Blodo, you guys might just need to go back to releasing .zip files for the mod updates, or at least for patches, unless someone knows how to run the auto-updater. When people see the server having a different version number, they'll come to forums, where a portal post can point them towards the download.
