RE: Editing Freelancer Files - Garrett Jax - 05-30-2015 I double checked Hidimari's mod with Bloxin. He did not trigger the anticheat with it, so it should be fine to use. If so, that should mean mines alright, people kept asking if it would trigger the anti-cheat but I always thought it was strictly client side RE: Editing Freelancer Files - Titan* - 06-09-2015 Can I edit fuse.ini file? Its in FX folder. I just want to add explosion sounds to cruisers/battlecruisers because there is no explosion sound for BC/Cruiser. will it can trigger the anticheat? RE: Editing Freelancer Files - Tunicle - 06-23-2015 Reminder RE: Editing Freelancer Files - Tarator - 06-25-2015 Following on the greenlisting of hidamari's sound mod and swag pack - Today I've noticed that the sound's range of secondaries on my capital has been cut for some reason, I went in the disco dir to check with sounds.ini. Presumably the update has done something over it? From there on, I replaced it with the Hidamari's one, and all was fine. Felt like asking, should I worry about replacing a default ini file with hidamari's, or its okay? You will hear nothing at all. RE: Editing Freelancer Files - SpaceTime - 06-26-2015 Where do we install the Swag Pack? FL installation folder or FL Disco installation folder? I currently have it in both files :S RE: Editing Freelancer Files - Tarator - 06-26-2015 (06-26-2015, 12:01 PM)SpaceTime Wrote: Where do we install the Swag Pack? RE: Editing Freelancer Files - SpaceTime - 06-26-2015 Meh, is it a problem now that it is unclean? Not unless you're going to use that folder for re-installing Disco, no. The vanilla folder is only referenced when actually installing the mod. After that, you can do what you want with it, but it's good modding practice to keep one clean copy of vanilla FL on hand. |
