RE: Things that Annoy you in Discovery Freelancer - PRJKTLRD - 05-23-2016 XXX agent had allowance to fine you if you were braking the INRP law of Liberty. How ever, I disslike the act of XXX agent too. Since I was always pirating rather than playing officer around, I would always let newbs to pass and on they way would advise them how they should play and they should read though. I've already met some XXX on some of my characters and I need to say that they are very arrogant, sometimes exceeding the normal line. I even flied LSF Upholder and could see this towards me. Not cool way to get blue and satisfy your life. RE: Things that Annoy you in Discovery Freelancer - Emperor Tekagi - 05-23-2016 Something that annoys me too: See above my post. Why post such stuff here? Discuss this with the people behind the chars themselves if you have that much of an issue with them. RE: Things that Annoy you in Discovery Freelancer - Alent - 05-23-2016 Hate searching for RP enconters, and besides being pirated by someone on Reinland with short, but correct RP, most are to trigger happy. RE: Things that Annoy you in Discovery Freelancer - Lythrilux - 05-24-2016 People who prioritize roleplay over gameplay. You know, those sorts of people who think it's perfectly acceptable to dump 10 caps on several snubs visiting their home system for a fun raid because "ooooh the system would be so well defended inrp!!11". It's an attitude that's killing the mod. You have to strike a balance. RE: Things that Annoy you in Discovery Freelancer - Venkman - 05-24-2016 Oh yeah, NPCs that discrupt trade lanes. I agree that this is a pet peeve of mine, as well. I've known some people to call a darned battle cruiser on ONE fighter, just because their own swarm of five fighters can't hit the guy. I ended up leaving a faction over that - I just don't understand the mentality. Sure, I get that you're asking for it if you try to take on some group who has a high amount of activity. But realistically, would you waste the resources to pull out a battleship to deal with a single fighter? I don't think so. Some people don't seem to understand that there's a person behind a keyboard flying that fighter they're ganking 8:1. Games should be fun! I also find people who /l123 engage you annoying, since they start shooting almost as soon as a silent shooter would. RE: Things that Annoy you in Discovery Freelancer - AnneMadelline - 05-27-2016 most players in Liberty ..... RE: Things that Annoy you in Discovery Freelancer - icedsdcard - 05-27-2016 NPC pirates disrupting tradelanes. Way too often. And also, that 650 passenger law. Only Liberty has that, was that just made to make it hard on any new player that saw the business delegates to Rhienland route? That's a law someone could run afoul of very easily. Thankfully I didn't bump into anyone. I don't see any Freelancer-ID liners(if it's not on the wiki, not many ways to find that sort of thing). Actually, I do see the Geisha transport, but that's no early game option. Other transports are expensive enough. The game seems kinda confusing for a new player trying to get up the ladder of credit-making, thanks to things like this and the transport ship costs, plus you have to wiki to find a good transport and where to buy it. |
