I am referring partially to his Corsairishness and partially to the time frame. Forgive me, in two months I'd be all for it, but we're talking about throwing a new Admin into the balance in an already-volatile situation, and chances are that doesn't bode well for me or anybody I fly with.

Ahem.... Are the Outcasts really complaining about having a Corsair on the Admin team? Because that's what it sounds like. If that's the case I'd like to point to some of our other Admins. Outcast we have Hoodlum, myself, Kuraine and Vero. Corsairs we have none. That said his faction bias, whether real or imagined, was not even taken into account for this, we looked at his ability to make decisions, how he dealt with high pressure situations, whether or not he ran fleeing into the night when we explained what he would be expected to do, but most of all his ability to lay aside any personal dealings in order to deal with the bigger picture, which he has done numerous times as a player. In short Laowai is a perfect contender for the job.

Voting yes. I remember when I took my BH Bomber through Gamma for god knows what reason, he and the most of the other indie caps from what is comparable to the New York Cesspool on Saturday night did not gang my poor little confused bomber in insane odds. I suspect he had something to do with keeping the others in line.

but the question is...will he be as good as the legendery Admins..Hoodlum, Reverend, Virus, Vero ( appoligies if i ave missed any) and will he do the job properly. you need to consider that, not only if he is a nice person or not
