One option may be to give Cloak not visual , but Scanner invisibility , you cant detect player on on HUD , but you can see it if you point camera in right direction . It will be like it was for pilots in world war 1 , Pilot with best sight ( or best team co-ordination ) wins . Smart player will be able to use star for cower , hide behind planet , asteroid , NPC ships or even other ( Big ship ) player . We will have lots of more tactics opportunities

Expand on that idea and also make it so that you can't select target the said ship, and then buff it's duration.

To be honest, all I see here is people trying to wriggle a way to get a freebie everytime they push 'cloak me!' button.

More like balance things up . If i want to be untouchable , all i have to do is fly VHF with Light cloak , it will take army to blue me . I will make very , very few blues to .
