RE: Notice of intention to disband - Laz - 05-11-2018

Within the Shura Discord, a bunch of the old Samura members have joined. We'll be discussing the ways forward from here. There is likely to be a inRP Shura / Samura merge, with Shura becoming the dominate family. We are still discussing details.

That would be for the best, anything to avoid disbandment and loss of officialdom.

Wonder last 60 days, after Owen left leader ship of Samura|- only 3-4 people tried to revive Samura. Did there best for Samura. There was some people those who was informed about the present situation of Samura|- and did nothing, except Pals.

In my opinion, Pals is the only right person for Samura|- leadership. Those who still loves Samura, they will surely stand fast and stand strong beside Pals in that darkest hour.

Disbanded Samura|- or Mixed it with others Unofficial Samura clan is not a right option. So called Unofficial Samura Clan not yet much more active than official Samura|-.

Hope for the best for Samura|-

Pals did nothing but supply his own pobs. Owen gave the go ahead for shura and samurai to merge before he left. That is why Owen mentions laz above

After getting more in depth information i see what has happend and there is nothing we of samura can do about this from this point.
All has been done in the correct manner. Laz has lead for both and the merge will be unavoidable. How sad it may be this could acctualy be something good but it gonna need some time and a lot of effort .

For now its important for Samura| members to join this channel https://discord.gg/znp3T3R so we know who is truly active and see whom want to move on in this new path

You can do that activity long before, suddenly not today, if you are so concerned about samura.

After spending weeks trying to get in contact with the members I have had no response and the activity of this faction has absolutely slumped. I don't like whipping dead horses. If Shura wishes to acquire Samura's assets, please contact me, otherwise they will be given to the Kusari Government.

As far as we are concerned, Samura hasn't disbanded.

This post was noted, by us, but seeing as a) the highlighted line, above, was suggesting a possibility, b) they met the activity requirement in the last quarter and c) we have not received an Official Request to do so.

Samura is still an Official Faction.

I guess this should be used as a precedent for any future issues with disbandment and official faction loss. Public statements apparently were not and are not enough to formalize a faction disbanding. Specially if worded in such a conditional way.

Thats all that matters.

As far we know, From Samura members, in Samura chat in Skype (the official one!!!) Pallab is the faction leader, and untill last night, had no intention of dropping it.

Nor Samura members want merge with Shura or whatever is called.

Samura has sufficient activity, and need no "merging" even less to just be absorbed.

Erik, even if meaning well, cant speak by Samura members. Pallab will make an announcement i guess.

Anyone willing make new samura ided faction feel free to do so.

Any assets or the like lost, can be replaced, no big deal.

But past leader didn't make official leadership transfer in the designated thread, right? This is similar to IRG takeover, only that this time it;s not really "hostile". Still, I find it amusing how staff chooses to uphold just half of rules/guidelines/procedures/protocols.
