Yes, that includes the PVPers in the server splitting up and actually fighting amongst themselves. Enough Duck hunt! Fight someone who's on your level, not NPCs with extra neurons. The pvpers of the server do tend to fight each other (see: Aegis vs Reavers in Kansas). We really don't particularly enjoy roflstomping, contrary to popular opinion. PvP is most enjoyable when it's a challenge. I'm personally going to log the side I'm paid to log for inRP, though. Edit: Zoners could also put out a call for Freelancers, not unlike Xenon. RE: [Official Event] A Delicate Balance: Force of Arms - Lusitano - 12-01-2023 i was planning on getting some free time and log on tomorrow, i even brought my bomber from penn yesterday, but ... looks like this is even more rigged than the Erie one! and some even think that this is fun ... good for them!!! the devs/admins could pretend a little but at least they are honest with that, we have to give them credit! If only those were the main issue here and not the autistically overtuned capital ship missiles. RE: [Official Event] A Delicate Balance: Force of Arms - John'DTR'Grey - 12-01-2023 Hello there everybody. Look, why all the drama, last time, 8 pages of drama, now, also again more dramas. For the love of god. Can we discuss failures, share the battles, have fun, and enjoy some RP and PVP? noob or pro, veteran or new guy, who cares, did we lost the north? this is a game, not a life. We come here to have fun, to enjoy our time, to cheer, to have nice novel-level RP's, to improve, grow, meet people and in the end, like all games, have fun and learn (or not). Dev team here work hard, a lot, to make all of this possible, we may have confronting ideas and opinions, we may have different points of view, but they work, for free, in a 20+ years old game, for all of our good. And the payback are eternal dramas. C'mon, for real, most of the community here is made of grown up adults with life and we should all act like that. I do not point anyone, and yes, I am not perfect neither, but I just want us all, as a community from a 20 years old game, to have fun, to cheer, and to grow all together. You can be in favor, or not, but I just wanted to share that feeling with you all guys. Salut. Genuine criticisms have been offered, you just couldn't let it be though could you? Cease your virtue signalling. RE: [Official Event] A Delicate Balance: Force of Arms - Jean Paul Richter - 12-02-2023 Guys why so salty? Is there a necessity for that no. It was fun even if mistakes were made, lets just enjoy the game, shall we.Balance wasn't perfect yet neither dublin siege was perfect and yet everyone cheered when you defeated corsairs. No one said anything about numbers and other stuff. So lets keep this civil, cruisers weapons may have been stronger then anticipated however that's not why ''the alliance'' lost. You had 3 factions OC, Core, Zoners against one faction and 3 mercs... Maybe people should think more about strategy that was involved instead of blaming everything on PoB cruiser guns being little stronger then anticipate, and in any case devs already told you it would be fixed, and still I see people saying event is rigged. Come on we are not kids anymore, that was the last of the issues. Why should I share any strategy when Im personally no part of Oc, Core or Zoners. Anything nothings suits me tbh, Im here to be impartial. You want to accept it? Im fine with it. You want to behave as kid, that's still fine with me. In my opinion as someone who has been on this server for a very long time (not on this acc ofc) I can tell you things were balanced quite well. Remember long time ago, you may have or have not been here Brets against Galus, Galus were 10x stronger and yet Brets won the siege of NL. Its not about the numbers its about strategy which I repeat I will not disclose. Thank you for your time in reading this <3 Cheers RE: [Official Event] A Delicate Balance: Force of Arms - Levenna - 12-02-2023 (12-02-2023, 12:15 AM)JadeTornado Wrote: Share that strategy please. Also Jayenbee's answer perferctly suits you too. From my perspective even from the very start you had large ships that have difficulty dodging going ahead/breaking formation and making targets of themselves. This kind of resulted in your main fleet being whittled down until DTR could just push in with superior numbers, I think. Formation is easier for DTR ofc, they have the station to rally around. A lot of your cruisers and I think all of your gunboats over the course of the fight also broke off to shoot the Reavers and weren't supporting the main fleet, so the Corsairs' smaller ships kind of had free reign to deal damage while their larger ships didn't have any gunboats/cruisers dealing damage to them. Keeping formation may be easier with the pob deshielding being less of a factor though. Just try and stay a little tighter and cover each other, is a good start. Also consider using Sarissas, like Murmillos compared to Legates they can just dodge a lot more incoming fire. |
