Or we could go the most logical route and quit beating around the god **** bush. Just put faction limitations on all Capital ships Cruisers and up, then give them a buff.

I dont think that is quite nesescary, just re instate the rule about official factions deciding who does and doesnt get a cap.
It would save a lot of grief, while keeping that open feel that is so good in disco.

In my opinion. Battleships are overrated.
I have personally only flown Fighters and bombers, and 1 Orca gunboat.
