So say in my Freelance ID..Freelance IFF Firefly one of you guys with the Pirate ID blows my ship to hell...The next day, I see one of you guys with a Freelance ID in a Firefly with less armor and I see great oportunity to get some payback. The problem ...I can not attack you as I am a freelancer...I can only defend myself. Apart from giving him the finger out the cockpit window there is not much I can do within the rules. (Correct me if I am wrong). So, if any of my ships gets tagged by one of your pirates...all of your ships should be fair game for retribution in RP. RE: Vagrant Raiders' Faction Feedback Page - Thexare - 08-20-2013 While the rules don't seem to allow it, I would tell the Raiders not to file a report if it were a proper in-RP retaliation - I have just informed them I want any VR-related reports to go through high command for just this reason. Historically, bounty boards that cover factions have covered all their IDs, and I would consider it unfair if that did not apply to wronged freelancers getting a little payback. I would, however, tell them you're a priority target in the future in-RP. Nothing personal, but we'd want to convey the message that we are not going to put up with that. Sounds fair enough. ![]() I just wanted to make sure that if someone were to continue an ingame rp action...like getting pirated that it didnt turn into a sanction for Freelancer on Freelancer violence. Cheers. RE: Vagrant Raiders' Faction Feedback Page - SummerMcLovin - 08-22-2013 Also moving this over to the correct section, the Faction Feedback one is for officials only. Don't get ahead of yourselves And I gave my opinions in your officialdom request thread. RE: Vagrant Raiders' Faction Feedback Page - Savas - 08-22-2013 I believe this was made from when VR was official. RE: Vagrant Raiders' Faction Feedback Page - SummerMcLovin - 08-22-2013 Oh yeah, so it was. Well it's in the right place for now, guess whoever 'unofficialised' you last time wasn't as thorough. RE: Vagrant Raiders' Faction Feedback Page - Ponge - 08-27-2013 Greetings. I'd ask if there is a feedback for Natio Octavarium? I'd have some remarks on their laws, but I could not find a thread for it. As VR is close to them, I ask here, if not a problem. Actual VR feedback: I'm glad VR withdrawn from piracy; I think there are already a lot of factions (especially in Liberty) those are up to that. RE: Vagrant Raiders' Faction Feedback Page - Druen78 - 08-27-2013 Feel free to ask here or here about Natio Octavarium. We'll do our best to clarify your doubts
RE: Vagrant Raiders' Faction Feedback Page - Ponge - 08-27-2013 Hello. I have an opinion about your ID request: -- Can demand cargo and credits from ships in Kansas, the Independent Worlds, Omegas, Taus, and Rheinland, and attack them if they do not comply. Is it really ok? It makes your ID suitable for piracy; I'd at least take out Kansas and Omega-3, in light of your neutrality/friendship with Liberty/Bretonia. Pirating DSE/USI/IC ore transports in Kansas would not make good to your relations, and you'd sink back to be a bunch of pirates again; other Houses' law enforcements do not ask for credits or cargo either, except for contraband. Or do you have any suggestions where the transports should go? Vespucci and Puerto Rico are both guard systems, inaccessible RP-wise. RE: Vagrant Raiders' Faction Feedback Page - Kazinsal - 08-27-2013 I'd like to remind you that we have a faction creation request thread which is used for feedback for a reason. However I will answer your question here before contacting an admin to have this much-outdated thread locked. The Liberty Navy and Bretonian Armed Forces levy fines from legal offenders and people who commit acts against the Treaty of Curacao. We have informed both parties of our intent to uphold the Treaty of Curacao. Ergo, we must be able to levy fines -- demand credits or cargo -- from parties in the Indepdendent Worlds. The ability to levy fines of cargo and/or credits in our own space (Kansas) is... well, pretty necessary for prosecuting offenders of our laws. Otherwise we just have to ask them nicely and move on if they don't comply. Makes us a pretty piss-poor force. And pirating ore transports in Kansas would be an absolutely stupid thing to do given our relations and any VR member who would do such a thing would be summarily removed from the faction with no allowance to return. |
