IAF (Independent Abolitionist Force) - finaldragons - 10-21-2009

uhmzz not trying to start something but uhmzzz...

Don't CR own 44 as official faction? don't we have own ID and IFF and NPC's?
Would that make it our choice who we let in?
Seeing there won't be any independent Players in CR?

And if the person who lasted a year with CR would not go Rulelawyering in this topic there would be no problem...
Any thing can be discussed and maybe i did post a little rude.
Thats just me and you know it....

Now im done back to the real point of this topic.

As i said we always like new players in the Tau's .
And if you try to blow up some smuggs while ya there even the better.
So i wish ya luck.

What that does effectively is force people to join your faction to acquire a ship that is actually not described as belonging to your faction. By extension of your logic, as you are indeed a separate faction with your own ID, an IMG faction could equally prevent CR ID'd ships from acquiring IMG ships - and seeing as the infocards clearly describe these ships as all IMG, they would have even more justification to do so... but that sort of thing resolves nothing.

There are ships marked as IMG ships in your guard system, which, considering you now have a separate ID, seems to be by accident than by design. You can't prevent properly ID'd and tagged players (IMG that is) from entering what is for all intents and purposes an IMG Guard system to acquire that ship. It's not as if they are stealing an IMG ship....I mean they did build it after all.

Excuse?
We dont want to 'force people to join our faction', all we asked for was that some forum RP about obtaining such ships will be engaged.
And it is not an IMG Guard system, it is clearly the CR Guard system.

But do, do as you wish...
This will be resolved in a future mod version for all whats good.

If asking an admin to gain what people think is right in their eyes and working above our heads is the solution, rather then playing it out inRP, go for it, nice RP, greatly done, really to appreciate... amazing awesome work from all sides. We should gratulate each other now and have a BBQ.

Gosh. Iam out. Do what you want.

Hmm...now that thats clarified, can we please stop arguing over our toys like 5-year olds in the kindergarten throwing building blocks at each other, ruining both our carefully built houses? (Yeah, I mean all of us)

Lets rather talk about the other stuff that has something to do with our faction.
I am currently working on a detailed faction description, and some parts of it are looking quiet good now. I'll give them some more love and put them all on here, they should explain a lot more things.
This will include a faction/goals description and a short bio of our leader.
I'm still planning to build that Zephyr on Aland, bit I'm sure we can involve the CR in some way into this, may it ba as a supplier of know how, rescourses, security or something completely different, I'm sure we'll heve some fun RP about this - at thats what really counts no?
I also look forward to some joint operations in the Taus in the future and if your traders run into any trouble in the Omegas, we'll be glad to help, since we'll be active down there as well.

If you have any more thoughts, concerns and ideas feel free to voice them, but any more posts regarding shipuse and belongings will be ignored.
I can also assure you, that you'll never see an IAF| tagged ship in Tau-44 unless its invited there in a RP way, however we will take the freedom to buy our NPC factions ships, as game mechanics force us to do so.

Kind regards,

Wuse

Edit: Seems we posted simulaneously. I never asked for admin involvement, however I can't say I'm sad it has been clarified.
As I said, we will contact CR and many other factions.

I asked the Administrator in question.

If you want to argue with anyone, please feel free. (My Skype is on my profile, and I have plenty of PM space. Alternatively, make a thread in Flood.)

Feel free, or STFU.

It would be fun to say my reasons are my own, which they are, and just leave you with an "I did it, so what?" sort of standing. However, I will explain.

I was talking to members of IAF| and asking what was happening and how things were coming along when I heard of how =CR= were trying to stop IMG Guard ID'd players from buying IMG ships. At this point, my facial expressions followed the course of a popular meme. ("At first I lol'd, then I serious'd.")

(Oh yes, since you seem to be in the habit of labelling people, I am not Akumabito, I am not Karlotta, I am n00bl3t, and you are welcome to see how much or how little the handle suits me.)

It would be nice to see the official IMG faction endorse this in RP.

Either with an official anouncement stating they are setting up this humanitarian wing (if they wish to make a political statement).

Or a 'secret meeting' setting up the IAF's funding in a clandestine fashion (if they want plausible deniability of the IAF's actions).

Endorsement from the IMG would resolve all issues of funding capital class ships in my eyes - and immediately open up some diplomatic doors.

Wuse has standing with the GMG from his actions with the ZAS, add to that endorsement from the IMG and you have a winner...

As much as we can at the moment we do, since the IMG leader is on break.

I will say again what I said earlier.

Any non-Colonial ship spotted anywhere near Colonial military installations will be prosecuted unless sporting authorization issued by relevant organs in the Colonial government.

This discussion is plain dumb in my humble opinion. I have nothing against the IAF, because Ishare their point of view on... Maltese labour policies, but it seems like quite a few people here enjoy exploiting a temporary state of legal affairs and loopholes to create precedents. Look, fellas, I could't care less who gets those ruddy ships and what for. However, it's NOT IMG who built them - Doom did. And it's NOT the IMG for whom they were intended initially. Just because infocards aren't up to date with ingame reality doesn't mean I'll have ANOYNE spit upon my, Doom's or anyone else's work. It's as if all the sudden an american patriot militia group tried breaking into a national guard warehouse to get some M1 tanks. Well, guess what. The sentries will start shooting if you get close to the electrified fence.

I just wanted to give you guys some massive kudos. I've come across you lot on a number of my random stealth admin mining ships whilst testing fields in your neck of the woods and I've always been exceptionally impressed by your degree of awesome.
