"Procurator" Battleship Model - Curios - 03-08-2010 overall it looks like this: http://img199.imageshack.us/img199/9817/35768613.jpg but i have problem with textures, here is not main hull textures on it atm D: "Procurator" Battleship Model - Curios - 03-08-2010 D: First post updates. "Procurator" Battleship Model - Barricade - 03-08-2010 Wow, I like it. That would definately be the Corsair way, of using the Osiris. "Procurator" Battleship Model - HurricaneX - 03-08-2010 I can see this coming along quite nicely. Just the texturing is a problem and the front looks....less BS-ish. Try putting some windows there. EDIT:Never mind it has some there. Just didn't notice them. "Procurator" Battleship Model - HurricaneX - 03-08-2010 ' Wrote:Battlecruiser "<insert name of your choice here>" Conceptual Model Battlecruiser "[color=#FF0000]Praetore or Praetor" Conceptual Model?? EDIT: And if we do get a battlecruiser(probly unlikely) it would be quite unbalanced in the Outcast vs Corsair war. "Procurator" Battleship Model - tansytansey - 03-08-2010 Dear God, more Corsair Capital ships? DO NOT WANT. Point of fact, the texture job of a ship doesn't denote a ship's origin. The shape of the model should pronounce that loudly enough that you should be able to determine what faction the untextured ship belongs to. Look at pre-existing ships as reference when building your own. The second model is beautiful, but does not look like a Corsair ship. It almost looks Kusari minus the purple frills. It's a problem with the model. You can't slap Faction Textures on a random model and call it a Corsair Ship, the model should at least feel like a Corsair Ship prior to texturing. The BC or the BS? I think the BS fits in nicely but for me the BC does look kusari-ish. "Procurator" Battleship Model - Curios - 03-08-2010 The first one, if you can see, rebuilded osiris. Here is about 1\3 of old osiris model =) So, with that textures it looks, maybe, Rheinlandish, but i want to take a look on it ingame, ingame there shadows, lights, etc, and ship will get a different look. But i have 2 problem now: 1. Size, this bs is barby size now =), need to adjust it with BS size first, but i allready done .mat file for it and it works, and CMP isn't a problem. 2. Textures. I'll take a look on how it will be ingame, maybe i'll change colors. and battlecruiser is frizzed now until i'l done with BS. |
