Vanished? - Virus - 12-16-2005

Virus pulled his ship up next to the cruiser, "Open the landing bay."

He drifted in sideways and the huge doors closed like a giant set of teeth. Virus jumped out of eagle and headed for the bridge. Luckily, Arouk had many ships layouts in the mind of Virus to look at.
--------
At the bridge

He stopped at the door. Of course it didn't open for just anyone. "DarkStar, its Virus." the doors slowly opened. He walked toward the commander, DarkStar.

He stood next to the captains chair, "It seems we're a little out numbered DarkStar."

"Now that's an understatement if there ever was one..." DarkStar gimaced as a small holo-tank was brought online.
"I'm willing to bet that the AW have contacts all over the Omegas, Rhinland is closed to us, and because of the IG/AW alliance, our choices are rather... limmited." The holo-tank brought up a map of Sirus. The areas around Sig 13 were glowing red, as were a number of other systems.
"I'm actually willing to punch through any one of these places, but where to go becomes a rather... urgent question. On that front, i'm open to sugestions."

Vanished? - Virus - 12-17-2005

"We would suggest the SF territories. Apparantly those are the only ones left. And you did seem to like Alaska." Virus said in his double voice.

DarkStar gave a snort of ammusement.
"It seems there isn't reason to stay here then, eh? Ensign! Power up the reactor! We're leaving."
"Aye sir! Brining all systems online. Primary reactor ignition, reactor online. Routing power to all systems. Shields, online. Scanners, online. Weapons, online. Targeting, online. Navagation and communications, online. All systems green."
"Set course for the Alaska Jumphole in Omicron Delta."
"Aye aye!"

*In DarkStars mind*
Why does he talk with this... 'We' thing? Gah, I shouldn't ask. That would be rude.
*He was helpful. It would be wise to keep, how do you humans say this, 'an eye' on him. To do otherwise would be a waste.*
I hear and obey. He is still, and always will be, under the protection of the Phantoms.

*In Reality*
DarkStar turned to Virus once more.
"You're welcome to stay with us for as long as you need to. If you do decide to leave, keep in mind that the proclimation of you being under Phantom protection never ended."

Vanished? - Virus - 12-17-2005

"We would like to stay with the Phantom. You have been very kind to us."
Virus looked at the main viewer, "Should we launch in case of the traitor, Keiran?"

Virus smiled what would be considered a smile on someone with no emotions, just, much more evil, "We would really like to kill him for his treachery."

PD nadesico, Omicron Delta System.

"still no traces of the Bremen" the robot at the survey console reported

"We left the search for to long, set course for Yaren base." Marx replied "Maybe the corsairs have some information about the Bremen's location"

"Aye sir course set, cruise engines charging." the ensign at the helm responded

"If we find him, you'll have to get in line." There was a sparkle in DarkStar's eye that held a promise; a promise of a verly slow and very painful death.
The larger cruiser was fully powered on, and shoved away from the wreak that had been it's cover. It swivled in place, and charged up the cruise engines.
"First to Sigma 17, then to Omicron Theta, then Gamma, through an Unknown, then to Yaren Base for reapairs and supplies, then onwards to Alaska. It'll be a cake-walk!"
DarkStar was being overly optomistic, and he knew it. He was calling down a lot of trouble, and he knew it.
He was dareing the universe To try and stop him again.

Vanished? - Virus - 12-17-2005

Virus stared blankly at him. "We hate lines......"

"And you could always go through Chugoku to Tohoku then on through Omicron Minor and finish at Yaren. A much shorter route, and safer in my opinion."

Vanished? - Kane - 12-18-2005

"Hmm..." DarkStar peered into the holo-tank.
"D*mnit, i'm starting to get into a rut already. Very well, through Chugoku it is!"
The ship began to turn once more, but DarkStar had another idea.
"And drop a decoy too. Send it off to Sigma 17, then through the Omicrons."
The decoy was a small probe, basicly a nav comp bolted to a engine block. The nav package was the barest required, but it could be made to read like anything. This decoy gave all the signs of being DarkStar's Hugenot. It would be that way untill whoever was pursuing them caught up with the thing that it's true nature would be reveiled.
DarkStar mused to himself as the decoy sped off in the direction they had been going. "I wonder just how far it will get..."

Vanished? - Virus - 12-18-2005

"Depends on how well-trained the AW is. Our bet is it will make it at least to Gamma." Virus sat down on the floor.

"But Keiran is an excellent pilot, we may be wrong."
