1* Should I never expect sportsmanship from your faction?
2* Was that a mistake or becouse of the guy was fighting, that he couldn't write /r // gf back after a fight.
3* Should I understand it as passive Q_Q for running away not not letting to kill me like my MM~ wingmen who later got Kudos for dying.
4* Is that so, if you kudos to those who stays till the end, why you don't fallow that example yourself.

That would be all.
Thanks in advance.

1. If this is the Reaver vs. MM in front of Los Angeles, well... I'd say we were fairly sporting. We had three players but, if you noticed, one of them was armed with only 650 Debs. Which is why I called for one more ship to help me. I thought I would basically be fighting the two of you by myself. The second fight (in Cortez) vs. Aluminum was still with him using all Debs on a Sabre. He didn't get around to buying his real guns yet, just happened to find you guys as he was on his way then decided he might still somehow stand a chance.

2. Maybe he missed it? Maybe he was busy. Maybe he didn't know about /r. I don't know.

3. No, not really. I don't ever generally "kudos" anyone after fights. A lot of people take that as being snide and underhanded, and well... egotistical. And we were mostly mad at ourselves for even giving you the opportunity to land. It's our fault for fighting you next to a dock without an insta-kill weapon.

4. The Kudos wasn't really for staying until the end... exactly. It was for staying until they end while being whittled to death with someone using only the hull damage on Debilitators to kill you. Somehow. Absolutely ridiculous and mindboggling that someone would so inclined as to finish that fight. And for such, the pilot that fought him sent him kudos for being a good chap.

Anything else we can talk about in private messages if you wish as it really isn't that relevant.

A few questions.

1. What do you, as a faction, feel that you contribute to the server?
2. Why do you believe that your faction deserves to become official?
3. Why do you choose colours as character names? (Hohoho.)

Er...hey.

Look, lately, I honestly haven't been having much fun, around your faction. While I realize that the characters I normally play as, and the Reavers, are constantly at odds, the animosity which many of your member's exhibit seems to go far beyond what could be drawn on from RP. Things like the aggressive and intentional use of (as some call it) "ganking" (rather than this simply being the by-product of an over-enthusiastic fight), occasional unsportsmanlike PMs, and a fairly obvious habit of putting blue messages above RP really makes the experience foul, in many cases.

I realize that you often refute claims of "ganking", ot simply say that it isn't much of a problem. I have personally seen you attack a single, under-stocked bomber with 6 of your sabres.

That's just stupid. There's a point where you not only have to consider your own fun, but also the experience that you impress upon others.

Doesn't exist in our group. We have no Gold Reaver. We have no shared accounts. If you have any questions or doubts check the bio listing for an inventory of active and inactive Reavers. Inactive are not to be considered part of the faction if seen flying. As unofficial factions have no control over naming conventions there's little we can do about it save issue a complaint and hope for the best.

hmmm i don't know what to say , maybe you should ask Silver Reaver or Aluminium Reaver or Ghost Reaver about a Gold Reaver they was also there in tau's when Silver Reaver die, maybe you need check list of you employee ....

As foul as it may be, it's not against the rules (yet). The simplest solution is to dock when you see more than one enter the system. They'll get bored with no one to shoot and eventually leave, permitting you to go about your business.

1. A character driven mercenary company that serves, for many persons, as an alternative to the MM~, an already well established group which is off limits to much of Sirius. I imagine there are other good reasons.

2. Because we represent the interests of a sufficient number of interested persons who are interested in participating in the game environment in a fashion which isn't erosive to the same.

3. Because everything is a color. It's a naming convention which is both specific and broad in range. Like the old XA Snake names, it's recognizable yet there are a billion cool snake names. Also there's some notion of hiding, as characters, behind the color. Mr. Blue etc.

Curious. No idea who Gold is. Guess it goes to show that it's nice to be able to hold onto a name.

That wasn't even a complain. That was something I wanted to clear out about your view on the gameplay. Somehow it's a tradition to call anything what was unpleasant for someone Q_Q to discredit anything they have to say. But ye it's your choice.

Reaver Mercenary Co. - Adain - 03-01-2011

All of my encounters with the Reavers have not been very entertaining.

My first encounter with the Reavers was crap. Heading to Alpha from 37 I see the Reavers (thinking that they are just some indies in sabres), I said hello and 'whatcha doin' and I get a reply: "We are going to Alpha to kill all of you Outcasts and your rookies." I was caught off guard. The two Reavers present were: Silver.Reaver and.....one other. There are just so many......

The Reavers are EXTREMELY talented fighters, but I think general Rp could improve. As far as I can see you are just bloodthirsty "mercenaries" that fight whom they please, and dont get hired to do so.

When I was accepted to 101st five of us were fighting an Order Osiris. An order Nephy showed up too. Then 5 Reavers appeared out of nowhere and began engaging. (after going through the "warming weps" procedure) I consider that a gank. We were incredibly outnumbered. Perhaps if two engaged or if they all just sat and watched. I dont enjoy watching five MR's caressing my char hull's.

A faction should have a goal, whether it be political or otherwise. I have talked to some Reavers, attempting to RP before they inevitably destroy me but no incentive, save killing OC and well....anyone, was given. I would like to see a true purpose for why this 'Family of killers' wants to be an official faction of RP that they dont possess.

I read that your main purpose is the complete contracts. A Reaver (while RP'ing) has never mentioned to me (within ANY chat: PM, local, system....) that they are attacking for a bounty. Maybe that's not procedure but well..If I were hunting someone I would let them know they are about to die. It has a longer lasting effect on their 'nerves'. Sets the stage for their demise. Oh well, might be preference on my part.

To conclude: Reavers as an official faction? I dont think so, until I witness hard proof (SS, different pics, Logs, etc) on forums OR in-game.

Things to Improve: Rp mostly in completing the contracts, Display of purpose in Sirius, the Gank Factor.

Alright (positive) things: Great Fighters, increasing in numbers, stable 'higher ups' that can navigate forums and give worthwhile feedback

Ooooorrrr they could get a foundation for Home system and (since they are merc's) have a VERY short "restricted systems" list. Like IDK 101st Guard systems. Just a thought......

Edit: they could also just not become a faction......
