I apologise to community for trying to resolve issue concerning fair play. I see clearly that most of you don't give a crap when it does not involve you or the faction you care about.

Every statement "deal with it" is just silly. I am dealing with it. So go on, lurk player list. Hunt specific player base untill its activity drops and you can chose new prey. I am sick of your broken dark age thinking which is sadly a new trend on internet.

All I wished was a friendly, civil chat with Lane Hackers. You made it into discussion about metagaming and its justification. Arguments as it help saving time is invalid and egoistic, since you don't think of the time wasted by defenceless transports, even if they have escorts. If you would indeed be interested in making this game more fun and community friendlier, you could do it starting from this point. But if you don't, don't dare insulting and degrading those who tries.

Using the player list/meta gaming is a small price to pay for a free game. Many MANY free online games i play have hordes of hacker's,or worse and you have no chance to beat them. The player list/meta gaming is easy to beat. Use it to avoid your enemies. There is no rule against it,and even if there was? no one could enforce it,or prove it is being done.
I do not think people mean to attack you,but this has been happening before you came to discovery, and probly will long after you are gone.(unless devs change player list)

I felt a bit like cheering you up Snak3
The bounty hunters are actually hunting Hackers pretty well.
Now just the timing when you come through the system.

I hope it helped

[font=Comic Sans Ms]Snak3, while it's all well and good that you wish to dictate how others roleplay, there have already been countless threads on this particular subject.

Now, if you could come up with an objective way to police the chat list, by all means voice it. But subjective rants about how X and Y shouldn't be allowed to kill you because of W and Z are simply a waste of forum space.

I'm curious. Did this happen to individual IC| pilots or to a convoy of IC| ships?

To Lane Hackers - SnakThree - 05-09-2011

Both.

Why is this thread still going?

I'd suggest some of the pilots in the convoy switch to scout ships then. Yes, I know that doesn't stop them from using the player list to log on when you enter Colorado. It does however mean you can trick them into logging in to only find combat craft in the ambush zone. Past that, do what others have suggested, you bait them on and let mercs clear them out.

Complaining about something that everyone on this server does, whether they will admit it or not, is pointless. As Sad has pointed out, if you feel you have a valid fix for the issue, voice it. Problem is, most of the server doesn't see using the player list as a problem. I sure don't.

Snak3,

Despite the staff's intemperate decision to set a bad example in trolling this thread, it is entirely accurate to note that the only opinion of importance here that does not belong to you is mine, and thus the remainder of the posts may be safely ignored as irrelevant to our discussion.

I have already answered the only portion of your initial comment that was in any recognizably answerable form. Addressing the rest would require a reliance on far too many assumptions as to your meaning - and I see no value in responding to a directionless complaint when you have suggested no remedy or alternative.

If you object to any portion of the operational guidelines that I have presented to you already, then I am open to hearing those objections along with your proposed alternatives and reasons.

Posts by any Lane Hackers will not be ignored by me, and will result in suspension of further promotions until the relevant portion of our Code of Conduct has been transmitted to me along with an apology for its violation. There is no excuse for it, since reference to it is contained in our promotion exam and this thread was specifically addressed.
