Enough Time to get some Mercs, BHG, own Forces or Allies to come in (or even just undock there) with a Counterfleet of Bombers or Capitals or whatever is needed. Player owned stations (POS?) in 4.86 ? - Kharon - 07-29-2011 One more question: Will thouse station tumble when they move like all bigger Capitals when npc collide with them? Player owned stations (POS?) in 4.86 ? - Switchback - 07-31-2011 I just want to add to the amount of questions, but what about oorp haters? Once someone finds out X person owns Y base, whats stopping them from saying getting Liberty Dreadnoughts and blasting a base to hell and back(say the base was Liberty Navy)? the whole station thing opens a whole new world for griefers and trolls alike... Player owned stations (POS?) in 4.86 ? - Tabris - 07-31-2011 That is why it tends to be a good idea to conceal your base carefully and try not to get tracked to it. Difficult to do so when you have to sustain it. Player owned stations (POS?) in 4.86 ? - Gytrash - 08-01-2011 ' Wrote:Yes, really. Okay, player constructable bases is nice, destructible sounds like a massive problem. The amounts of lolwuts that decide to kill something merely because they can rather than because they should is amazing. Example A: I spend a lot of time and effort building and maintaining an outcast owned base in Alpha. Lolcasts (yes they exist, no they are not the majority(I hope)) come along, 2 BS one bomber and wipe out my base while I am offline, there goes weeks worth of work to provide someone with some ololols. That is what i see it becoming at the moment, feel free to correct me if i am wrong. Apologies for spelling and grammar mistakes, its hard to type when your keyboard is facing a direction other than you. Player owned stations (POS?) in 4.86 ? - William Frederick Cody - 08-03-2011 ' Wrote:Yes, really. I have some questions related to the highlightend parts: 1. Can i have more than 99 items on my station? 2. Can i have more than 2 billion credits on my station? 3. How much effort it need to destroy it? I am sure, my station would be one of the top targets, or? How much support would be needed for a station like mine? And 4. Would it be possible to connect stations? I mean, can i open a station in New London or New Berlin, that would share the hold with my station near Norfolk? Oh my god (<--- Cannon), i am soooooo exited... Player owned stations (POS?) in 4.86 ? - Daedric - 08-03-2011 I meant to ask this before and Cody's questions reminded me. The station must have money on it to buy stuff from players. Does this mean the a player can log into the station? I assume the owner? If so can people sell things to the station when the owner isn't online? What happens to the money/goods that are on the station when it is destroyed? I assume the goods float in space ripe for looting. The credits? I'm not expecting these to be answered, I am hoping. :P |
