Haven't got in game, so can't tell anything about the lag. However, I'm interested in this new prototype. What does it do that the last one did not? I mean, if it makes coffee, I think we can live with the lag.

I've noticed lag and loss pick up for me as server pop decreases. Not sure if this is my end or the server, i'l check it out.

Now this makes no sense. If it went up then that might be something but the reverse nuts!!
One explanation is the internet links become busier in some particular time zone between your place and the server. I dunno.

Hey, when you're printing out the high lag figures, does the game actually feel like it is more laggy? It could be a measurement fault...90 lag is pretty high

The server ping is around 400-600 more than any other server. I'm connecting and playing fine on UK, US and the DoD server. Only the Discovery 24/7 is giving me issues.

Voted less lag.
No actual change in lag (85% of the time it says 0% anyway), but I do notice a 20ms decrease in ping; down from 350 to 330.

i ususally run the game at 2 different loactions. the one that i'm going to post from is a secured public wifi in the Midwest, USA. the other location is at my house on dial-up, which ping's at a usual of 280 to 310 with fluctuaion of 3-9 ms and a lag of either 4% or less. The public wifi ping is usually 160-180, depending on the computer's load and other people being on, with the fluctuation of 3-7 ms with 2% lag or less. i'll edit the post with the wifi "results" on different character. i.e. mining and fighting
and then i'll place my vote
Edit 1: at the wifi location, Ping of 170-175 fluxuation of 4-7ms and 2% lag or less, no loss. even had a fluxuation of 1ms at one point
Edit 2: as of 8/26, the second internet connectio that i use was floating around 310 ping with fluxuation of 7-9ms and almost always a 2% lag. lately it is 280-285 ping with a fluxuation down to 3-6ms, most of the time near 3ms and finally no lag (the second connection is a dial-up / 56K connection)

Well, for the last few weeks I've been experiencing lag, like only lag, no loss. Fluct is usually around 0-2ms, ping 50. But whenever I fight lag is ~ 10% or maybe a bit more/less. But when I ran a test on the servers I also get loss.
