It is only a suggested game mechanic, based on the practicalities of asking players from other factions to participate in your RP. As it is they have to ask players who probably have other priorities to do jobs that they might not want to do... i.e. act as escorts for traders.
Whereas if they were controlled by this faction they would be players who share the goal of the Samura faction.
It was just a :crazy: idea. It is your RP. You are the people to make the decision.

That was the answer, KNF will be honored to provide escort if needed, lawful trade in Kusari is one of our priorities.
Added to the use of civillian ships the Samura is using as escort it should be fine.

Think about. Kusari is fighting a war against Bretonia. Means the Shogun and KNF will demand an official war tax from all Kusari companies and corporations. As patriots it will be an honour for you to support KNF, will it not?

Samura controls the Shogun.. It's hard to believe that he would dare to tax them.
But, on the other side - they will invest in KNF and Kusari for the war effort.
But not as a tax, more as an investment for their goals.

Mjolnir, the GMG - Samura relations are actually not so friendly. The GMG were in a partnership with Samura for many years, mainly supplying h-fuel and building bases and equipment. The GMG broke this relationship by forming a joint Kishiro-GMG gas mining operation in Sigma 19.
Now, they are trying to loosen all their ties with Samura. From rumours on their bases.
I have my own GMG characters; one day I'd love to turn the GMG into a faction. This isn't the thread for that, so back on topic!
