It's been a while since I've played Discovery so forgive me. (danged desert!!) There is one chain gun that's really good, I can't remember the name for the life of me.

You might be thinking of the Solaris, but it was nerfed.. Right now, I think the Civ Chaingun and the Solaris (Fighter) are pretty much neck and neck...

my personal liking will be 10:00 refire, with shield damage at 5% effectiveness for all but a decent hull damage. Making a hull buster by its effectiveness on shields rather than its firepower on shields (if this is gibberish sorry i be tired)
