It IS there and Igiss has NOT removed it yet, so IT WILL BE USED. It's not like when Raven Claw was sold on Bornholm with an infocard that was completely out of place. It says it's an alien design yes, but it also says it has been seen in Corsair space in last 10 years and it's for sale on Corsair bases.
We all know that ships are not getting removed from the mod just like that, especially ships that are not completely out of place (like a Marsflyer). So you can't just pretend it's not there. And you certainly can't do it the second it is shooting on your ship.
I hardly ever fight Corsairs and I never have fought one in an Arwing. Since the big debate has come from people avoiding the Arwing, I don't think that your last point is valid given that barely anyone uses it.

Problem is... you connect looks with the ship. I'm not happy about imports at all, but I can just think it looks completely different (Corsair-ish), but it IS there and the infocard makes it Corsair.
Just like when fighting Outcast dessie I think it should look different, but it IS there since Outcasts need a dessie. Or any of the BHG Capships for that sake...
I can't just say "BHGs have no capships" can I?
